he's getting what 6 targets a game? That's not high end targets for your top WR. Also go look at that targets. Not high quality targets either.

like I said the passing game is s**t right now across the board. Brock is either hurt or not seeing the field correctly. Teams might be playing him and this offense differently, that a THL JonnyD question.

I don't disagree that they need an overall at WR. I would like to see Ricky get more targets and see what he really is and where he should play.

He's a podcaster now. Started at the beginning of the season. Plenty of examples of players performance declining around the same time they take up other projects

now my point on him is guys change over time. 2017 jimmy isn't 2024 jimmy. you guys seem to have a problem with that. that's why you can't grapple with deebo no longer being 2021 deebo.

There are interesting points on both sides here. One, Deebo is not that old. Two, he does not appear to be as effective this season, either as a receiver or a running threat out of the backfield. He was a threat last season. Injuries were nagging at him, but he was still a threat. But this year? Not as much. Why? He's only 28. He will be 29 in January. But I can't blame age. Not yet. Maybe in 6-7 years. But now? I don't see it.

I also don't see Purdy having the greatest of years either. I also notice the left side of the offensive line is not road grading like it did in previous seasons. Is it the play of the line? Is Trent Williams having an off season? The man is 36 years old. He will be 37 next season. Is that it? I can only tell you my observations. Perhaps defenses are doing something differently?

My guess is, and this is just a guess, it is the play of the line. It's just not as good as it was last season.

He's not getting targets because he's not open, because he's the worst route runner to ever pretend to be a wide receiver.
