Confirmed: Deebo is a jerk
Deebo has fallen off like Zeke. He's gone from stud to dud really fast, I think he has the ability but maybe got a little fat and happy. Its just human nature and with more maturity he will probably have more self reflection.
He needs a fresh start at this Point.

Lots of love but not marriage material IMHO.
Deebo: I'm not struggling

Lynch: he needs to catch the ball
Kyle: he needs to catch the ball
Baldy: he can't separate and looks slow

Wow there you have it. Absolute proof he's full of it when he says he isn't getting the ball.

He's played 11 games this year (can't count KC cause he immediately left with pneumonia). We still have 4 games to go, so as of right now he's averaging around the same amount of touches as he did last year.

Targets/game:
2023 - 5.93
2024 - 5.82

Carries/game
2023 - 2.47
2024 - 2.67
So it's ok for Kyle to have a down year but nobody else? Lol the double standards.

I don't think anyone's off the hook TBH. Kyle, Deebo, Purdy, and others have rightly been criticized at points of this year.

Only thing that has changed is just 1 TD and his running has fallen off. So for everyone saying he is done... We really cant say that for sure. And he probably should be getting more targets with the injuries 49ers have had.

Can anyone speak to his route running? Is he getting open but not getting the targets or is he not getting open and thus Brock passes him by in the progression?

I feel like the wide back runs have not been there. I don't think there is a hole for him to make it through this year compared to other years. I don't blame Deebo on that aspect.

I'd like to see some short slants to him and some manufactured passes. No more runs. Wide back is dead and doesnt need to be resurrected.

I think the problem is Deebo is not someone you can force the ball too...

We have seen more then a few INTs bounce off of Deebo, he is not a safe guy to force the ball too...

Stop with the Whataboutisms.

Deebo has had a down year.
Kyle has had a down year.

Aiyuk was having a down year.

Guys on defense haven't stepped up.

All have been talked about on this forum. Just stop.

Look at f**king ray ray mcloud for heavens sake!

Before Aiyuk got hurt people were turning on him too. Sorry not buying the excuses.

I already covered this silly argument:

He's fat AF and not playing with urgency and passion like he used to. It's easy to see. And now he's blaming his QB and/or coach. Can't wait for his ass to be off the team.

Edit: Actually this only includes catches and carries. Last year he only had 6 kick returns, this year he has 11. So he's actually getting more touches per game this year lol.

He's had plenty of opportunities, he's simply not making the most of them.
not all oppt are the same.. the same amount of touches doesn't equal the same type of quality plays and receptions. Stats don't tell the story, film always does

The film is even worse. He's not playing with urgency and passion and is not breaking tackles like he normally does. He only has 3 all season, 12 in each of the last two seasons.
There are more examples of open Deebo. Here is just one where he could have had a quality play, but it just so happens there is a better option also on the same play

like I said before, there's only one ball to throw to all our options

even for the persal hater, wide open for the TD

He has always kind of been that guy.
Deebo is on target for about the same number of targets but maybe it should be more. After all they don't have Aiyuk to split the attempts with so he should be the prime receiver. I can't imagine that Purdy doesn't want to throw to him so maybe he's not getting open enough. A top receiver gets around 100 receptions. He's nowhere near that.
He sees the writing on the wall. Someone will pick him up but he inst getting paid like an 1 or 2. He needs to come to terms
