Stop with the Whataboutisms.

Deebo has had a down year.
Kyle has had a down year.

Aiyuk was having a down year.

Guys on defense haven't stepped up.

All have been talked about on this forum. Just stop.

He just needs some attention

I think the problem is Deebo is not someone you can force the ball too...

We have seen more then a few INTs bounce off of Deebo, he is not a safe guy to force the ball too...

He has always kind of been that guy.

I'm having a hard time believing you are watching the same games we are.

You think that Deebo is physically the same player he was 3 years ago?
At this point Deebo is costing them more than he's helping them. How different would they be record wise if he was gone? Maybe Pearsall replaces him. Maybe it's another guy from the draft or a free agent signing. He's certainly not worth a roster spot at the salary he's making. I know there's cap issues but it may be best to try and move him in the off season. It may be dependent on how Aiyuk's rehab goes.

Wow there you have it. Absolute proof he's full of it when he says he isn't getting the ball.

He's played 11 games this year (can't count KC cause he immediately left with pneumonia). We still have 4 games to go, so as of right now he's averaging around the same amount of touches as he did last year.

Targets/game:
2023 - 5.93
2024 - 5.82

Carries/game
2023 - 2.47
2024 - 2.67

Only thing that has changed is just 1 TD and his running has fallen off. So for everyone saying he is done... We really cant say that for sure. And he probably should be getting more targets with the injuries 49ers have had.

I don't know if he's done or not, but his running is what made him such a unique weapon and offset the route running and separation issues.

Deebo hasn't been breaking as much tackle. It looks like he is dancing too much and defenders are getting a hold of his lower legs.
He is much scarier to tackle in full stride moving forward and these defenders will do their best to move out the way.

It's not that he's dancing too much. He's simply not breaking tackles. I don't know if it's because he's trying to avoid injuries or no longer has the ability to do so, but he's gone down more times to the first defender this season than he ever did in the past. The refusal to be tackled just isn't there anymore--at least not in SF.

If I'm being completely honest, I think Deebo is starting to make business decisions with his future in mind on contact plays. It sucks to say that because I love the dude, but I got to keep it real.

You can't consistently take on two or three guys from a stop and start position and break through all the guys. The times where he can get running he does break tackles

Deebo has always been a get in space guy and let him run..
so terrible how they coddle these dudes. he's legit hitting teammates and no action on that. so predictably, he now hits teammates in social media. and they say oh he's so great, what a true warrior he is,

it's disgusting

where are the consequences for him being an idiot? you can't allow idiot behavior on your club, behavior that puts the player ahead of the club. Sing, this is one area he is miles ahead of Shanny.
There were a few times against the bears where he appeared to dance at the point of contact in spots he used to just hit the hole. I called it out to my family the few times I saw it (just proving it isn't revisionist history)… I thought he left 3-5 typical "deebo yards" on the field on a few different plays… played were used to seeing him at least fall forward, if not grab a few more violent yards
Never should have switched to #1

Now I understand why some talking heads are calling for Deebo to be cut even though he would be a huge cap hit. Deebo is arrogant and cocky, kinda like his coach. Kyle will always cut Deebo slack, cause they are buds. That's his Cabo buddy. Deebo is who the 49ers use to be. He's still doing the stupid boom box schtick which is just plain embarassing. It's time for Deebo to go bye bye.

He's been doing it all year. It's infuriating. Baffling why he refuses to plow ahead and to get those critical yards now. Instead thinks he's Dante Hall and wants to juke juke juke all the time now.
