I always thought the plan next year was to trade one or the other. Now with BA injury it may be difficult to deal him. That leaves one. We will see next year. Nothing against Deeb. Really but he sure is getting paid a lot of money.

Hoping he has a nice Thursday.

Paying all these guys a lot of cash, but there's only one ball
He's gone after this year anyways. That was made clear as soon as they drafted Pearsall and gave Aiyuk a big contract. And if that wasn't enough, JJ finally peaking sealed the deal

He's getting paid millions of dollars (that ultimately comes from fans) and is showing he's disinterested and unwilling to stay in shape. It's not just the results it's the attitude and lack of professionalism.

Yup this and add the fact that he wears that "C" on his chest yet doesn't act like one. I was out on him pretty much after he got the bag and witnessed what he does when he doesn't get the ball on the all-22. Dude takes so many plays off and checks himself out all the time, not only because of injuries.
Contract year next season. I want him back on the field next year. Dont care if he leaves in the offseason afterwards.

That was completely eye opening for me too when I first saw the all 22 on him. I had a completely different view of him before of thinking he was an all heart player doing whatever he has to do to win. Especially with how he acts sometimes on the sideline(crying during the lost to the rms in the championship)

The dude half asses it a lot and not just the regular season. It's crazy seeing that in the SuperBowl.

Its a 15 mil additional cap hit to cut or trade him unless they do it before the 10th day of the league year. Just don't see how that will happen

On board with this. Potential last big contract of his career? I'll take it and let him walk afterwards.

Good plan. Got my vote.
And then we can draft more WRs in the first round and not offensive linesmen.

a good plan? i hate to be a stickler, but with all the ranting and raving you did earlier. you pretty much made it seen that Deebo should never see the field again.
It might be ok if Ricky Persall didn't seem to be a bust or if Brandon Aiyuk hadn't done his knee six ways from Sunday.

If we get rid of Deebo, we have a huge hole at WR.

But he doesnt even play WR
He is listed AS a Wide Receiver.

His numbers this year aren't that much less than previous years. He is just going through a bad patch for the last 4 weeks.

Unless you can trade him ( I doubt many teams are stupid enough to trade for a top paid receiver who delivers like a upper low tier one that can't get open and has turned into the Chase Young on offense. ) I am game on this as well.
