What we have seen this season (and the Super Bowl loss) are defenses who don't respect us popping them over the top...and they sell out on the short and middle s**t. All over Deebo as soon as he gets the ball. And of course Kyle running Deebo up the middle from Shotgun lol. Wasting plays and risking injury to a f**king WR, on a team that is already missing Aiyuk. I'm sure that also takes a toll on Deebo WHEN he needs to run his next few routes.

Again I said it before... if Deebo is on another team next year, 9er fans (just like the Titans fans who were losing their minds wondering why all the sudden A.J. Brown looks great on the Eagles) will be confused/pissed off why he looks like his "old self" on another team.

His hands have turned to stone.

yup a slow, stone handed playmaker with an attitude. the kind of guy you trade to your rival to take them down from within.
LMAO

9ers FO/Kyle got their scapegoat for this horrible season.

Not a coincidence that the broadcast team was going out of their way to bash Deebo and show a bunch of footage of him being covered. Then of course his costly drop, which was justifiable to bash him.

You can't blame him for Kyle deciding to force feed it (hell it might have been Brock) to him. Doesn't matter if Deebo got defensive (when he's been bashed all season, for s**t out of his control) and mentioned not getting opportunities. Even if he does/says that... it doesn't mean you have to throw it to him when he is covered by multiple people..or tight by one. Kyle just doesn't have any creativity left. Those Deebo runs out of Shotgun formation have been a waste of downs.

I still feel Deebo just needs a speedster to get defenses to back off and open up the short/middle part of the field for him take advantage of his abilities. Kyle has been HORRIBLE at sticking with, and using a deep threat. Teams are just playing us like we have Jimmy G back there again.

I guarantee that Deebo will look better as a playmaker next year on another team, than Kyle as a head coach of our 9ers. It is only going to get harder for Kyle in the NFC.

Dude are you Deebo's dad or something? These comments are a joke. He complains about not getting the ball enough (which is wrong as his touches per game is the same as always). Then Kyle/Purdy force him the ball and now THAT'S the reason he played like crap? He dropped the ball, false started, whiffed on blocks, and tackled his own player because of Kyle/Purdy making an effort to get him the ball more?

Absolutely ridiculous. He is fat and out of shape, and not playing with as much intensity. Making a ton of mistakes. Cute pregame outfits though, podcast probably doing well. His priorities are clearly not helping the team win.

It's hilarious that most folks online forever calling Deebo "fat" and "out of shape", probably couldn't get past three pumps on their ladies before running out of breath and laying down.

We are talking about a player who is asked to run up the middle against big ass defensive lineman and linebackers... then is asked on the very next play to run some recieving route, or a screen pass. Through out the game... YET HE is fat and out of shape?

I'm the one saying ridiculous things???
Look, I disagree that the man is out of shape. But damn Afrikan said three pumps .... Jesus .

LOL
Deebo will not be a 49er in 2025 IMO. He's going to get traded and Jennings elevated. Granted Jennings doesn't do the things that Deebo does, but neither does Deebo anymore. We'll get a third for Deebo and dump his contract.

I think we can get a higher pick for him.

Man I don't. A third is generous

Deebo's contract makes it very hard to trade him before 2026. His dead money hit is $31M, plus we take a $15M cap hit until 2026. It will take some high-level financial wrangling to make a trade work...and that all begins with a team willing to pay that price after the down year he has had. th

The best-case scenario is that he uses the offseason to get his head back in the right place and spend some time learning to run better routes.

Yes he's even slower. I don't think I can remember a player going down this fast.

A third is beyond generous. He better have some big games at the end or I see like A 6 or 7 as a good deal for us.

A 6 or 7 is like gold getting a 4 for Lance...

Anything beyond a straight cut is more value than he is worth.

Any trade will require SF to eat some of the contract dead money. Best SF can hope for is for this to happen. They'd still be on the hook for some of it, but some is better than all.
