So in other words, he mailed it in all year, heard he was about to be cut, and decided to try. He has broken more tackles in this game than in every game combined previous to this.
Deactivate him and cut him.

My wife who hasn't watched a 9er game all year seen Deebo back to return the kick and said. "Isn't he too chunky to be a return kicker?"

Unfortunately nobody wants to hear that. They've already made up their minds.

His touches has to be manufactured. You have to draw up plays for him. Crossing routes and manufactured plays is all he got.

Too little too late.
Cut or trade, he can't be here next season.

He's not going anywhere with that contract, especially with Aiyuk's injury.

Best case scenario is you find a trade partner that requires you to keep a % of his cap hit, but that is less than the full cap hit would be if you cut him.

he will be back next year. There is no way Shanahan will part ways with him. I also think the restructure they did earlier this year makes it more likely they keep him. It is what it is. I guess you never know which version you're gonna get moving forward

He'll be back for sure. Not sure what that means for, Pearsall, though, with Aiyuk, Deebo and JJ still on the team.
