It might be for not - I think they're going to shut everything down again, if the virus gets out of control. No sports for the rest of the year.

This injury will definitely put a dent into him becoming our numero uno wr. Lets hope for the best.

Which was only one game.

He played in both playoff games and his foot wasn't an issue. Not saying that happens for Deebo, just showing a example of 8 weeks after the surgery.

I don't know anything more than you just reading the tea leaves. They continue to open and infections continue to rise. If you are going to open then open everything. The players in the NFL unlike MLB or the NBA seem like they want to play.

Deebo will probably be back by week 1 or 2 at the latest. The date for the opener isn't changing though. He'll be fine.

Totally agree with everything you said!

12-16 week recovery. 13 weeks until week 1. He'll be fine. Not everyone recovers like shifty Tay tay. Deebo showed last year he's double tough. Pain for 3 square meals. This rehab will be his biatch.

Still hate the Cohns.

I also hate Mr. Con. AB81 has more IQ in his little pinkie than this guy. Again, it's now how the team starts the season, it's how they end it.

#1 rule in sports surgery, especially, is that post op, never plan to have it be as good as it was. There are exceptions, but they are few. Once "surgerized" things never seem to be as good as before the injury.

AGree. But in this offense we don't need DeeBo to be Jerry Rice 2.0. All we need from him is to be productive in this offense. The other guys can step up also and contribute. Between having two excellent WR's and three mediocre ones, vs two excellent WRs and two VERY good ones, I'll take the two and two vs the two and three. I think Kyle's developed enough potential depth at WR that something like Crabtree's injury in 2013 shouldn't cripple this offense. Also on the bright side, Aiyuk and Jennings as well as Hurd might get more balls thrown at them while Deebo is recovering - and once Deebo gets back and starts practicing - all he needs to do is tear it up in the playoffs - which a long way away from now, and where I think he'll be 100% physically and mentally recovered by then.

That unfortunately might just happen. I am hoping it won't but it is really not looking good.

There likely will be a season but the reason we may see a delay or shortened season is because the owners want to play in front of a stadium of people because as you implied they like their $. Some states may open up large gatherings later too complicating things.

It could have been worse - it could have happened in the middle of the season.
