I'll take the troll bait. I remember one play in the SB where Jimmy G was throwing had a beautiful downfield block on a Deebo run and then he fumbled...so yea hold onto the ball!

No boot or anything.

Just hope every thing heals up nicely and no long term effects. Excited to see he and Aiyuk paired up. Throw in Hurd, Kittle, Bourne and then the receiving skills out of the backfield with Coleman/Juice/hopefully McKinnon, lots of versatile weapons

Been a couple weeks since the surgery, no signs of infection or anything which is huge.

I feel like SF is gonna take it slow with Deebo for long-term health success. Probably see him back week 2/3 and I'm completely fine with that. AZ and Jets first 2 weeks.

I'm genuinely surprised he isn't in a protective boot still. Hopefully that's a great sign that he isn't but seems risky at this early stage. Any MD's in the house?

Hopefully, the season gets pushed back a week or two. Deebo should be back by then.

I'm stoked about year 2 for Garoppolo in this WCO, Kyle with extra time to build up his think-tank playbook with all these weapons and to watch this young receiving group grow up.

I hope they do. No need to rush a foot injury back.
There is a lot of optimism about Deebo's contribution to the Niners.
Not enough consideration is being given to the fact that he broke a bone in his foot in a non contact practice just running an ordinary route, he said.
If he has a propensity for breaking bones, meaning a weakness, brittleness, etc., as is the case with some people, he may end up having a checkered career.

Perhaps an orthopedist among our boosters could offer some insight?

Let's not start this kind of talk. He didn't break a bone during the season. Accidents do happen off the field.
rona, broken bones--bring it all on. My son Deebo don't give a f**k. Let's go.

It was a Jones fracture with Deebo right? I wouldn't be tripping about that if not for Trent. Most of these young athletes shouldn't have any issues. Wish we could see x-rays before and after but you know they threw everything at this thing... BMAC, Jones screw vs 5th metatarsal plate, bone matrix. Hopefully just a visit to the mechanic to fix the brakes.
Bet they didn't use the same doc who did Trent.
