Thanks, I'm hoping the season gets pushed back - I don't want Deebo missing any games.

Peter King dropped an update on #49ers Deebo Samuel, adding he could be "out till October."
— Akash Anavarathan (@akashanav) July 20, 2020
Adding that since their schedule is easier in September, returning for their mid-October stretch would be ideal.
This lines up with his original 12-16 week recovery timeline. pic.twitter.com/jMxJ2H5Onx

King doesn't have any inside info. He COULD be out til October. he also could miss no regular season games at all.

Deebo Samuel responds to Peter King's article about the possibility of being out until October. 👀 #49ers

I want Deebo long term. I would rather him miss 8 games then have a setback.

This. Hell, miss the whole season idc just come back 100% when it's playoff time.
I think its more about WR play while he's out rather than strength or schedule dictating when they decide to ease him back in.
Hopefully the WR play in his absents is good enough that Kyle and crew don't feel forced to push him back before he's 100%.

Given this kind of injury and the history of it with other WR's yeah I'd say Mid-October is more realistic

Then we will have to hear certain posters complain about a lack of chemistry. We need Deebo back when he is ready. Period.
