No, Crabtree had an Achilles.

Right , he also had a Jones fracture at the end of his college career and couldn't do anything at the combine. I think that spilled into TC as well?

Crabtree held out until week 7 of his rookie year

You're correct, he also had a Jones fracture he was recovering from that whole off season....
Looks like Deebo is gonna be ready
I hope he sits for a bit so Hurd gets a little force fed.

That is not apparent from what was discussed on the previous page.
3 GAMES from what I know...
At least sit the first three games of the season, come back for Philadelphia, that should do. That way BA will get some playing experience and hopefully our other receivers will step up like Trent Taylor

That's a good plan - I'm more inclined now, to let sit a game or two.

Yes, contribute on punt returns. You know, how he set the all-time record for college punt return touchdowns. So yeah he can be a big contributor on special teams

Better safe than sorry. I think we have the first three games in the bag and Philadelphia won't be that hard in my opinion but at least this way the chances of him re-injuring himself will be less.

Yeah, because that's done the 49ers a lot of good Keep waiting on the trickle-down potential. I'd love to be wrong on this but mark my words, he'll be another wasted roster spot.

He's depth at WR as of now, imo he was over drafted. Is what it is

We definitely agree there. Hew was terribly over drafted. As I stated before, I had a late 3rd round grade on him. I think I being proven a bit wrong on that. It looks like he should have been a mid 5th rounder.

I hope so too. I would rather he start later and have a better odds of success vs pushing it and re-injuring it before the pmayoffs.
