He should be more than ready in four weeks.

We have 4-5 other healthy receivers, 4 running backs who can catch passes, and 4 tight ends. We have the numbers to cover for him while he's out.
You hope that one or more guys step up. Looking at Pettis, Aiyuk, McKinnon, and Reed to help ensure no drop in the passing game.

Good. Dont wanna risk injury. I called it when I said he should miss 3 weeks and this team would be 2 and 1 at that point.

IR, the new 3weeks variety. It's all good.

I'm fine eith it. Avoids PUP and buys them an extra 3 weeks. Sounded like he was almost good to go, but no need yo rush him back and potentially mess his foot up further

I concur. Even if he was declared healthy I was always saying just bring him back by the Philadelphia game because the Giants and Jets should be no challenge

I saw the notification and was like... damnit!! But then after reading that IR designated to return can be as little as 3 weeks, it makes way more sense.

I think this was their plan all along. I'm sure they wanted to see much he's improved and what he could do.
There was never a need to rush him back and we will be fine. I'm more worried about Aiyuk and him tweaking that hammy again

Jeez... that's not good. The rest of the receivers need to step up (Pettis) and the defense needs to dominate like they did in the playoffs save the last 7 minutes of the Super Bowl.
