Wonder why they put him on IR, I know it's only 3 weeks but he can't even practice during that time right?
Well he probably can't physically practice right now
Shanny went from being hopeful he could practice on Friday to putting him on IR wtf lol
Maybe he tweaked it. It's what cost Taylor a season and a half no?

There was never a need to rush him back and we will be fine. I'm more worried about Aiyuk and him tweaking that hammy again
Idk if I'd activate Aiyuk tomorrow either, I'm sure he will be or White would've been brought up instead of Grasu tho, but I understand what you mean

Jeez... that's not good. The rest of the receivers need to step up (Pettis) and the defense needs to dominate like they did in the playoffs save the last 7 minutes of the Super Bowl.
El Gato LIVES!!!! 9 lives I tell you. Speedy recovery to Deebo and next man up! Go Niners

I hope it's precautionary reasons. We need Deebo if we are gonna make another run for the SB.

Don´t rush him.
Agreed. That was my concern when I heard he might play week one.

Yup. Been advocating this since he got hurt. Let him heal 100%

It says an indirect message to the New York teams we think they suck so bad we don't even need our best receiver

If we can't beat the Jets and Giants without Deebo then we've got bigger issues than a missing WR.
The fact we waited until he was ruled out of the Cards game shows the level of respect we have for them.
Get through with the W this week and it could end up being a blessing in disguise.

Smart move, we need Deebo more in January than September, let Aiyuk take his lumps so he can make the leap that Deebo did last year. Necessity is like the mother of good stuff or something.

Isn't 3 weeks dead center of the 12-14 week expected injury window?

Yeah, he's at 11 weeks right now. 3 more weeks should put him in the expected range.
