So is he the starter at slot?
If there is a coach who could aid this man with 'scheme'...it's Shanny.

lol, I'm with ya man. I hope they prove me wrong, but I hate that this is their prototype.

I hate that this is their prototype too. Can't we have just 1 big WR on this team? I know 2 is too much to ask for.
Matthews?
I had to hide my chain as soon as we made the pick

Guys convince me he is good. GO!

He isn't dating Reuben Foster's girl
Wish we would stop drafting tweener/gadget players! We needed a WR who could be a WR and take the top off for Kittle. We got a slot/kr/pr/rb/whatever else...... fine for a 4th round depth pick but not in the 2nd when we have clear single position needs.
I like Deebos tape but don't know how the team isn't scared at all of players with injury histories. This dude has had so many injuries. Only stayed his senior year because he couldn't put together a full season the previous 3.
I think he and Dante Pettis compliment each other well... they can be a dynamic combo.

Another scout said this:

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com, who compares Samuel to Pharoh Cooper, wrote the following about Samuel within his scouting report:

"Tyshun "Deebo" Samuel lives up to his nickname (it comes from a tough guy in the movie "Friday") and plays each game like he's stepping into an alley fight. While Samuel is tough and competitive, he lacks suddenness and might need scheme help with motion and bunch formations to help free him against NFL man coverage.

I would love to know in what world Deebo lacks suddenness?

I'm officially sold on the pick

He's Pierre's replacement.

Pettis and Deebo should be the starting WRs eventually.
You guys in love with the tall wr mantra do realize Kyle hates those stupid jump balls in the rz. So if that's why you guys want tall wrs it's never going to happen. You have to be able to do s**t between the field and run good routes.

Bourne too if he makes it, he's like 6'2 or so.

Cause New England is riddled with tall dudes at wideout

the irony is that they just drafted a tall dude.

They have the best ball placement in the league with Tom Brady. He can make smurfs look like stars.

His best targets ever? Gronk and Randy Moss. Big and Big. Imagine that.
