"Tyshun "Deebo" Samuel lives up to his nickname (it comes from a tough guy in the movie "Friday") and plays each game like he's stepping into an alley fight. While Samuel is tough and competitive, he lacks suddenness and might need scheme help with motion and bunch formations to help free him against NFL man coverage.

Just one question for lance... did he see any of the senior bowl week? Every day there was a report on how Deebo was virtually uncoverable in man coverage. I watched the Clemson game and it pretty much backed it up. Offensive player of the year in the SEC... between him and AJ it was a toss up but Deebo is a bit more versatile and you know how Kyle is...

I don't know what to think. I was too locked into AJB.
Deebo, Kittle, Coleman, Mckinnon, and Juice all on the field. You almost have to play against the run with that lineup, but all of those guys can run a good route and catch...... Take out one of the backs and add in Goodwin for more speed. Now Juice and Kittle open a big hole in the running game.

And that was proven wrong at the SB

Yup, Deebo was absolutely cooking DBs at the Senior Bowl.

What this team lacked was another short WR. This will certainly put us over the top. More short WR's was exactly what we need.....

I'm officially sold on the pick

Why?.....

Love the pick, and he must have made a personal impression with the staff at the senior bowl. He the same height , and 25 lbs heavier than OBJ, not as quick, but still a excellent route runner, and good run after catch.

If you can play, you can play. Deebo can play and he's about six foot. Not a midget, and he is strong also. Think Anquan. What a simplistic assessment.

You guys in love with the tall wr mantra do realize Kyle hates those stupid jump balls in the rz. So if that's why you guys want tall wrs it's never going to happen. You have to be able to do s**t between the field and run good routes.

How was the RZ offense
Already stole Talib's chain back for Crabtree
