Guys who dominate at the Senior Bowl more often than not turn out to be pretty good NFL players.

Samuel Deebo'd the Senior Bowl. He and Isabella were the top WRs.

Deebo. Drafted on a Friday. How appropriate.

Not just on a Friday, but on the 24th anniversary of when Friday [the movie] was released.
26 April 1995

Hopefully he gets inducted to the hall of fame on a friday.

Another scout said this:

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com, who compares Samuel to Pharoh Cooper, wrote the following about Samuel within his scouting report:

"Tyshun "Deebo" Samuel lives up to his nickname (it comes from a tough guy in the movie "Friday") and plays each game like he's stepping into an alley fight. While Samuel is tough and competitive, he lacks suddenness and might need scheme help with motion and bunch formations to help free him against NFL man coverage.

I would love to know in what world Deebo lacks suddenness?

Too much obsession with height here lol. OBJ and Deebo are the same height.

Truth bomb!

Seriously. The amount of knowledge that some of the people in this topic have on not only Deebo, but the WR position in general would not fill a small balloon.

He dominated Clemson, the best team in CFB this year. He was uncoverable during the senior bowl, and he weighs 215 and has a 39" inch vertical, so tell me again how he's a midget wr who won't be able to compete??

Linemen have to track their smaller blocking targets, and wide receivers have to leave smaller DB's in the cuts, and if they can't, they don't fit this offense.

Perfectly stated.
AJ is stil lon the board so obviously teams saw something that scared them off. He was a toss up for WR1 on some boards.

I wish his standard jersey just said "Deebo" on the back. I would definitely buy that.

Not allowed. No Fun League.
Deebo was at the Senior Bowl so Shanny/Lynch had a good look at him.

He did have 882 receiving yards for the season. 200 of those was in 1 game against the top D.

Quan wasn't slow when he was young either, made a long career by getting stronger and meaner as he got slower...here is hoping for the same for Deebo
