It's a terrible idea which is all he puts out there these days because he posts for a reaction, not actually trying to bring anything legit to the conversations.

Gilmore's play wasn't worth what he was making last year…but sure let's trade our most productive offensive player from week 1 for Gilmore who had offseason surgery, hasn't shown anything this year and wants a huge contract to step foot on the field.

Paying 31 year old corners who are coming off injury. Brilliant.

I guarantee you he's in the threads bashing our injured players and dogging the team for taking chances on injured players and he's in here claiming this is a smart move to make.

thats how you know when youre in the wrong when you agree with him that Deebo and a 2nd is good trade to get Gilmore

Agree. Giving up a 2nd + Deebo is preposterous. A 2nd should be enough for Gilmore, all things considered.

To be fair he's saying we'd get Gilmore AND the Pats 2nd rounder. But it's still a terrible trade given what Gilmore wants to get paid(top CB in the NFL)

With all due respect to all of the posters on this forum, I seriously doubt if any of you know more about football than Kyle and John Lynch. You may watch a lot of games and analyze replays. You may have played in high school and maybe even college. That's all great but these guys have been playing or around the game for most of their lives. They eat, sleep and breath the game all year long.

That doesn't mean they're going to make all the right choices any more than any other GM/HC combo. They've made some bad choices and they know it but they can't spend the next 2 years complaining and griping about them like some of you do. They have a very demanding job that requires that they always look ahead, not back. When a free agent of draft pick doesn't work out they have to move on. To say you know more about football than either of these guys is just ignorant. These 2 guys not only know the game but they're both highly intelligent.

I was eating with the exwife at Texas Roadhouse when the 49ers 2nd round pick came up and was literally saying out loud "Anyone but Deebo, cmon aaaannnyone but Deebo". So glad I wasn't in charge cause dude is a super stud.

To be fair, you could have been right at the time. Kyle was able to see a guy that fit his short pass and run system. To a lot of us, we didn't see the big play potential. He still needs to be able to stay healthy for more than a few games in a row.

Crabtree was drafted by the 49ers, wasn't "someone else's player"

He's our best skill player on offense.
