Haha its funny because the guys that are talking s**t about this pick are the same ones that complain 24/7 on the zone. Nothing new, never happy. Find a new team.

Al Davis loved speed. Sorry lol, I forget there's lotsa youngsters on this board, there used to be a joke that he didn't care if a player was a bust, Al just wanted speed.

Will he play in the Slot for us? Is he big enough to play outside?

He's a great fit for the z receiver spot on our team.

That's Slot right? I don't know the letters. #noob

Seriously. The amount of knowledge that some of the people in this topic have on not only Deebo, but the WR position in general would not fill a small balloon.

He dominated Clemson, the best team in CFB this year. He was uncoverable during the senior bowl, and he weighs 215 and has a 39" inch vertical, so tell me again how he's a midget wr who won't be able to compete??

This is crucial. Guys who dominate at the Senior Bowl tend to become good NFL players. He had a great week and drew a ton of praise for his route running and competitiveness.

This is the most physical receiver that the 49ers have had since Boldin.

Personally I do not care about height weight anymore after what Edelman, Welker, Hill...been doing to this league.
All I know is Shanahan knows receivers better than any of us. And got a great look at him, if he approves we can't say it was a bad pick yet. Apparently no one else took AJ brown yet so we'll see what happens there

Should be the end for Taylor at the slot with the Deebo pick.

He's good, but doesn't he have injury concerns dating back to SC

Miles Boykin, Hakeem Butler, DK Metcalf and AJ Brown available and they wanted this smurf WR.....

And yet we are at the 47th pick, 11 picks later, and no teams have picked the guys you have mentioned. Maybe the professionals know a little more about these receivers then y'all do.

This and I was dying for brown, got no problem admitting I was wrong

He's good but not with Butler and Brown on the board.

This. Especially bold and then there's the injury thingy

Why does Kyle like returners so much? Not a bad pick but he loves wide receiver's who are returners

Because they can slip man coverage and can take it to the house in the open field. He's confident in his ability to scheme a player open, whats the best type of player to have the ball in their hand in the open field?

Goodwin - WR1
Pettis - WR2
Samuel - Slot
Really? Another high second rounder on a wr....smh
I wanted Aj Brown but Deebo reportedly put on a show at the senior bowl. Kyle had a front row seat. They took the guy they liked.
