I don't see how it's odd at all? You wanted a big WR and he's 6-5 230. He can play 3 positions as well.

Everyone has to start paying attention to who they bring in and what positions they do a lot of homework on...there's a damn good chance that's who they're targeting.

Yes, the fact that he did that to Clemson, one of the best D's in college last year is telling. Kyle and staff also got a good long look at him at the senior bowl where he did well per reports at the time.

Yes, Hurd will be cause matchup problems and confusion as to what the niners intend on a play.

Once he gets the nuances of a wr, and start playing a lot, all these different wr, takes away time from a defense, as they need to study tendencies of individual players, as well as offensive tendencies.

We've had so many receivers that have put up 100 + yard games in the last decade or so lol. I don't think Michael Crabtree did that until year 2 or 3. He's probably the receiver on the roster that I am most excited about (not counting rookies). Either him or Goodwin, who I think will be even more dangerous than he was in 2017 with JG throwing and as the number 3.
