As my wife says..size isn't everything

It's funny because the next pick was a 6-5 WR and people complained about that. People just complain

Just don't understand why we picked WR back to back when we have other needs to fill.

6 year plan.

Next year they'll address the OL.

The year after that, coverage in the back end.

Stay the course...

That game against Clemson is hype, but if you look at the score, it tells the tale of Samuels stats.

Clemson put up those numbers on many teams last year, but very few, if any WRs put up 200 yards on them. On top of that, the gamecocks qb isnt winning a heisman anytime soon.

I love that one handed catch in the endzone. It's about 20 seconds in or so

10" hands
I'd love to see Deebo work with a nutritionist, cut some weight and get down to around 200-205ish. He was 216 at the Senior Bowl and 214 and the combine and though he did fine in both, to win at the NFL level, you have to be great. Dropping 10-15 lbs should give him the edge he needs to dominate.
HE wont be very very impressive if Jimmy The Gift can not deliver him the ball.. or to any of our other IMPRESSIVE WRs..

I still think we should have gone OL w/that 2nd round...

Not really, if you watch the game Clemson had their starters in till about 5 minutes left in the 4th. For the most part the game was competitive enough where a team like Clemson going for a national championship isnt going to chance a comeback.
So freaken pumped to have Deebo as a Niner.

I don't think I could pull off that shirt he is wearing
From 2017. Great background story on Deebo.

I like the kid, hope the best for him. Like his shirt too!!

Go Niners!
For as frustrated as we are about the S situation, I think our WR group is potential deep. Especially if Welker works closely with Trent Taylor.

This guy not only oozes with talent but has that junkyard dog mentality bringing it on our offense. He will fit perfectly with Kittles, Jet, Pettis, Goodwin along with the new big bodied Hurd that can also move. This offense has some big time playmakers that Shany can madly scheme to get open.

I wanted o-line too, but these guys like what they have there and at safety.

Two head scratchers to me, but I'm no genius.

I do like Deebo though.

The like they have at OL and DB relative to who was available when they made picks in the 1st 5 rounds this weekend.

Unless something goes wrong with another position group I full expect next year's #1 pick to be OL or DB.
