If that report is true then I don't know what Lynch is waiting for. By the time July get's here that could balloon to $30M. Strick while the iron is coolest, and this iron ain't getting any cooler.
no report is true.. 49ers don't leak

Ohhh I can't f**king wait! The depths people will sink to drag Nick to justify their position to trade him next year will be political.
FTFY
the zone is almost 100% on Bosa..doubt it will be bad

Until he unfollows them on instagram and deletes all mentions of the 49ers of course
Doubt he does

Are we the only ones with that offensive design tho? Because he's the only outlier on that chart.

The idiocy of that comment is that you can look at receptions per broken tackle, and those are NOT schemed, and low and behold, Deebo who is second in the NFL among WRs at that stat (behind Bryan Edwards, who isn't even near Deebo's overall quality).

He's more likely to hold out than attempt to apply media pressure as Deebo has done.

What is going to happen between now and July that would make the price increase? Not to mention they still have to iron out the GTD money.

I just don't see the urgency on the Niners side of things to get a deal done right now if he's asking for mega money. Of course the Niners would like to get something done…but it's not the worst case scenario to see if Deebo can replicate last season again this year.

I think time will run out to get a deal done this year. I think he'll finish out this year and they extend him next year.

He should be extended this year. The price at every position gets more expensive every year like clockwork. It will be cheaper to get it done this off-season in the long run. That said I don't see it happening until just before camp ala every bit contract the niners do. They like to play hardball negotiating. He will and should get paid.

Yeah but we can find that on day 3 of the draft...totally replaceable

Looks like a Madden create a player. Please don't f**k this up FO.

Love me some Deebo. Would love to have him back at the right price. HOWEVER!!! When the majority of your catches are at of behind the line of scrimmage it's easy to inflate the YAC numbers. Would love to see average depth of target/reception and see where he stacks up.

Look at receptions per broken tackle. He's 2nd in the league among WRs (and the one who's number one is only good at that, being a scrub who hasn't even reached 600 yards in a season yet). That answers your question. He's breaking tackles to get those yards.

Hate to be pile on guy but this is one of the worst comments I've seen in a long time.

yay or nay?

HELL no. If it doesn't involve a top 12 pick I don't want it. I mean, for real? Basically two second round picks and a bust DB? Yeah no thanks.

And F that. You want Deebo, you better cough up atleast two 1st round draft picks.

Devante Adams, Tyreek Hill, Diggs and Hopkins none of them went for 2 firsts... doesn't seem realistic..

Perhaps, but Deebo is worth more to us. He's our MVP.

People act like if we pay him around top dollar for a WR, say 25-28m 4 year extension.... it will do what to the team? The cap is to explode anyways. Get rid of Jimmy, McGlicnhey, Ford, etc. We have the room for him and Bosa easy.

Aside that, we can just kick the cap can down the road if it were actually an issue. . Its not like Kyle and John are leaving right? The franchise isn't going away in the next 3 years. just keep kicking that can. Thats what all teams do lol .

Even if the cap goes up to $240 million in 2023 you could have $70 million per year wrapped up in 2 players. That's nearly 30% of your total. Trey will still be on a rookie contract but what if he plays really well and they make the playoffs. Will he want an extension like they gave Jimmy after 5 games? That could be another $40 million per year. Then you have 40% of your cap wrapped u in 3 players assuming that the cap goes uo again in 2024 to $260 million.

While all this is going on I hope all the ticket holders are going to their bosses and demanding raises.

Then that's what happens when you draft three all pro's. You are supposed to take care of them. Otherwise you can keep watching the Rams win super bowls.

Also id like to point out its our franchise QB, franchise edge rusher, and a top 5 NFL WR. Oh and we have the best LT in football. Thats how you are suppose to build a team.

And arguably the best TE

It will get done..

Exactly. Almost all drafted by us.

As we all know the draft is a big crapshoot. We have as many big early misses as we have hits etc. You paythese guys. They are the heart and soul of this team.

Doubt Bosa would pout like that.
The way companies are structured, you do more you get paid more.

The simple way of looking at our owners:

Seems like our owners are trying to figure out a way to pay our guys less for doing well while using the excuse that we have no money because we paid guys more that haven't done well.

I would have thought they learned from the Buckner situation. I know we can't keep them all but keep the ones you drafted like the Golden State Warriors do with their home grown talent.
