If Jimmy is on the team week 1 then yes that criticism is valid. Right now we haven't invested anything besides whatever the 5.5m that is required no matter what (I think). Regardless we gotta wait for John to make the "mistake" before we tear him down for it.

the bottom line....... good teams.. smart teams..... do not have 29 million dollars tied up in back up quarterbacks.. to me lynch already began down the mistake road by over valuing jimmy.. playing chicken and thinking the rest of the nfl is dumb. shouldersurgery excuse not withstanding

Also cc no hate intended. I used to get super frustrated with your takes. I've grown to accept that it's just your outlook and I don't have to agree with it. But, yeah let's wait until Jimmy is healed before we get panicked. He can't even take reps so no qb drama. Trey will get all the attention and reps he needs. If Jimmy's healthy on the practice field. That's when I think the problem starts.
