Can we just stop this idea that Deebo Samuel carried the team by himself? If anything the defense carried the team at the end of the season. The Defensive Line was fantastic at the end of the season. Bosa was unstoppable. Armstead played his best 49ers football. DJ Jones, Ebukam, Omenihu all played big roles. Warner was impressive in the PO with a terrific game against the Packers.
And I think that Deebo Samuel is the third best WR in the franchise history after Jerry and Owens. Deebo was unreal don´t get me wrong just like Trent Williams was all season. But man the defense at the end of the season was amazing.

Most people mean to say he carried the offense, including ST. Which he did. Without his big first down conversions, big returns, big plays and 14 TDs, we are easily a bottom of the barrel team record wise. No matter how well the D plays, we still need to put up points to win.

not paying deebo when he put this team on his back all year long sets a really bad example to our other guys and potential FAs. pay him and move on. the only trade we should be exploring is trading Deebo money for his services for the next 5 or 6 years

I don't think that's the real issue. I think it's the guaranteed money. He might want $80 Million guaranteed.

This is where Paraag always tries to win the contract. This is where there will be a massive divide and source of extreme contention.

As for Deebo....the dude had a great year....but it's his only great year. A great year doesn't make a great player, and I'd feel a lot better if he had another to back it up. Glad it ain't my money.
