I don't think Jimmy's contract has anything to do with this. His contract has something to do with not signing big free agents(even if Lynch denies it) but has no bearing on Deebo and Bosa's extensions. Their 2022 cap hit is not going to be much different than it is right now.
I hear you and have heard people saying this, but I just don't agree or believe it.
just like i and others do not agree that all deebo has to show for himself is a half a year of great play
Half a year? Before he was moved to the backfield, Deebo was neck and neck with Kupp in yards. You do recall he shattered Jerry Rice's record for yards after seven games, right? Right then is when they moved him into the backfield part time, and understandably his receiving contribution waned.

I don't think he gets used like that nearly as much this year. We will have a stable of RBs this year. You can bet on that. Then Deebo can just be sprinkled in as a runner

Love me some Deebo but if we had TJ Watt and Nick Bosa on the same damn line it would not be fair.

Pretty much. Deebo is gonna get paid. We went through a similar game of stump the dummy during the draft last year that also got everyone's panties in a bundle when faced with the question "who would the worst possible pick be at #3?" Even though most knew McCorkle would be far and away the dumbest pick we could have made, some still thought we may. I trust the FO.

Pay Deebo what he wants. He's a game changer.
