The thing I love most about this pick. He plays physical. He's an alpha dog. Not a softie like Pettis.

I may not like his size, but the attitude he brings is something that is underrated.

mayo, you're wrong here, buddy. For starters, Deebo played outside in college, not just the slot. Next, he played Z(outside WR) for Kyle Shanahan at the Senior Bowl. Finally, Kyle just said he'll play outside at the presser.

They drafted him to be the starting flanker(z/outside WR) for the next decade.

He could certainly play in the slot for us (along with pretty much every other WR we have!)

However I think it's telling that Kyle had him at Z all week at the Senior bowl and that Kendrick Bourne ended the season in that position. My money on Deebo at Z, Pettis at X, huge bun fight for slot.

Then rotate Goodwin in at X with Pettis going to the slot.

man and those are not great throws either....he has to break posture to snag a few of them. He might not get tripped up as often had the ball placement been better.

About time we get a WR that can run a slant route. So much easier for a QB when the presnap read is a slant and the WR gets there and can turn it upfield with strength.
