Why? Nothing has changed

Lol imagine thinking a couple scum bags on Instagram determining if he leaves? Yeah no
The horrible part is this s**t happens all the time…I'll bet money when Tartt dropped that INT he was getting horrible s**t in his DMs all the same. Some fans are just straight up losers

As ridiculous as it is for these childish threats to be made he shoulda expected it once he scrubbed his social media. He pissed off all the psychos because they took it as a big ole f**k u from deebo.
Man, I can't believe some scumbag want's to threaten Deebo. Probably some basement dwelling scumbag who would literally s**t himself if he was face to face with the man.

Prime example of why I think pro athletes and celebrities should opt out of social media. It cannot possibly bring them any positivity to their lives.

I agree. By scrubbing his social media he comes off as a child throwing a temper tantrum. He sparked a reaction though his own actions as crazy as those reactions were

Dude seriously 49er fans? f**king grow up over removing some insta picks. Anyone doing this is a POS and isn't a fan.

What did he think was going to happen? lol

For every action, there is a positive and negative reaction.

The zone is a perfect example of this

Anyone who did that is a pathetic piece of s**t.

The fact that there's an "lol" after what did he think was going to happen is telling and troubling.

That comment implies Deebo deserves it.

🙄 No it doesn't. Pretty sure he just means that any time a player does something to suggest they might want to leave a team, they should expect all the racist idiots to come out of the woodwork behind the anonymity of social media, no matter who the fanbase is.
Honestly, this doesn't surprise me at all given some of the rhetoric that gets thrown around in here about players. I think Samuel, or his agent, made a huge mistake with that Instagram stunt. It was childish and petty and served no useful purpose. Nothing I have heard or read coming out of the front office would lead you to believe that team isn't interested in finding a way to get a deal done. By indicating that he has some grievance with the team by scrubbing his account, but not bothering to publicly articulate what it might be, he just opened the door to this kind of abuse. Not to say that it is in any way justified but it is, as I mentioned in another post, something that is way too familiar in the world of "social" media. Can't say that I see anything social about it all. It mostly seems like a platform for posting grievances and snarky rejoinders in response to some disagreement or perceived slight.

Of course, there is also the issue of ego and money, which seem to be inextricably linked in the world of sports. To my way of think NO ONE deserves to get paid $25 million a year for playing a game, but that's the way the system has evolved and so now it has become an unending cycle of one-up-manship. "Oh, well if this guy is going to get this, than I deserve to get this", and very little about what you might actually need to have. Having spent some time in the Hollywood meat grinder I have no doubt that a lot of this stuff is being driven by the agents who are, almost without exception, usually type-A, a**holes, clearly that is what the A stands for. They all want to say they got the biggest and best deal for the client because it increases their standing in the industry for five minutes or so and helps line their pockets.

The fact is, no one knows why he took down those pictures. Its all just speculation.
