I'm all for paying Deebo top 5 WR money. But I will/would respect him a lot more if he did a sit in like TJ Watt did. That's the classy way to handle yourself. Participate in all meetings, but refuse to step on the field. Continue to be a good teammate while reminding management that you want to get paid. Staying away all together is a poor way of doing it.

it's more than just paying him.. it's paying him and not having to lose another player to sign in the process

why not use Kittle? He's one of the best players at his position. Football players get hurt, facts of life.

Kittle hasn't exactly lived up to his contract. Not all of it his fault. Doesn't change the fact he has his fair share of games where he's invisible.

Kittle and Aiyuk were open plenty but for some reason they were both invisible to our QB most of the season.

Bosa gets hurt.. kittle is hurt all the time. but only deebo is injury prone and should be dumped or not paid highly in part for that reason. odd how deebo is the evil one. i guess the mob is selective about who they target

Probably because last season is the only time in his career that he stayed healthy, and his style of play makes injury almost unavoidable. We should still pay him because of how important he is to the offense, but his deal doesn't come without concern.

I live In eastern Ohio 40 minutes west of Pittsburgh. That is my local sports talk station. There were talks of players didn't particularly care for that either. They're out there busting their butts while he was watching. I believe I remember hearing some preferred he stayed away.

So damned if you do damned if you don't. As a fan I'd rather he sit in.
