90% chance of getting injured and missing games in 2022

Nice find.

But he's a 49er which means every player on this team has a 90% chance of missing games next year.

It's literally, our identity. The REAL "49ers way"

football players get hurt....I know it's tough.

Especially for us compared to the rest of the league over the last 9 straight years.

He restructured his deal a year ago
We extend this guy yet?

There is a significant difference between chronic tissue injuries and freak accident injuries. It makes no sense when people group all injuries together. Getting cracked in the head, or getting rolled up on is bad luck. Pulling up lame is not. Deebo will just be running and then his leg gives out. Thats a concerning thing for a 100 mil+ investment.

He missed almost his whole last yr in college as well...players get hurt it's football. I'm sure you were the same guy calling out Armstead and Ward for always getting hurt.

How the hell is pulling up lame not bad luck? We've seen it happen to a f**k TON of players in the league. Guess it was Frank Gore's fault for tearing both ACLs. what a lazy ass.

Who's talking about investing $100M lol? at least use real numbers instead exaggerating

I think he's talking about over 4 years at about $25 million per. As far as injuries go, there is some luck but there's no doubt some players pull muscles easier than others. People are built differently and some are just more delicate than others. Deebo has big legs and his hammies might be very tight to start with. I've seen that with some sprinters.

He didn't restructure his deal until this off season (March 16). Sorry his contract was Aug 2020 BUT he was still playing out his rookie contract, it was a extension. His cap hit the past two years? $5.5M.

Sounds like fine value to me.
What a teammate.
Does everything that the TEAM is successful.

No argument there. It's also one thing to have CJ Beathard and Brian Hoyer compared to JG.

Our last 5 games in which Jimmy started that year we averaged almost 29 points. Compared to the 18 points before Jimmy.

guess i never saw any of that when deebo put the team on his back for three games in a row and led us to victory. it looked bad when he hobbled off the field vs green bay but that did not stop him from playing the next week vs the rams. bosa had hamstring issues as well.. ad kittle is hurt all the damn time. but just because deebo feels and rightfully so he is owed some more money for all he does for us. run pass catch . throw touchdown passes... he is a greedy a diva. not worth it etc etc

lol im just stating facts. I literally said we should still sign Deebo. It just comes with some obvious risk, which is why some people are hesitant. Its not hard to understand. Hes not greedy, hes just setting his asking price high so that he gets the most he possibly can. He knows his body isn't going to hold up for super long, so he's leveraging his MVP caliber 2021 season for his big payday.

No one said it wasn't. In fact I stated his deal was a no brainer. Due to the little financial investment made.

His injuries didn't start until after he signed it.

Is he talking about 4 years fully guaranteed? Are we paying him $100M in fully guaranteed cash? Not a chance in hell....so people gotta stop making up numbers and exaggerating.

You calling Deebo delicate lol? Deebo is built like a RB, are you saying their hammies are tight to start with? Go look at Bosa's quads and hammies....I'm guessing those might be "tight" if that's the narrative we're going for. I guess we should draft every stork legged WR there is lol.

Look my point is that it's football....players get hurt. If everyone's argument is he's gonna get hurt...I'd say well no s**t, so is every single football player. I'd also say then why would some team give SF a king's ransom of picks and pay him "$100M" if he's "gonna get hurt"?
I'm glad he's skipping workouts. Less chance of him getting injured.

This is just straight up moving the goal posts. You brought up how we were 8th in the league in passing yards in 2018 with receiving by committee. I bring up the lack of passing td's and now all of the sudden its because we had below average QB's passing them the ball? Come on now.

How about Deebo is just so dangerous with the ball in his hands that he can take a screen pass or a slant to the house no matter where we are on the field and those scrub WR's couldn't?

Kittle was injured off an on at Iowa. Maybe Jimmy doesn't throw a hospital ball WK1 and he doesn't deal with a MCL injury

This is total scheme and Kyle could do this with any WR lol
