This is just straight up moving the goal posts. You brought up how we were 8th in the league in passing yards in 2018 with receiving by committee. I bring up the lack of passing td's and now all of the sudden its because we had below average QB's passing them the ball? Come on now.

How about Deebo is just so dangerous with the ball in his hands that he can take a screen pass or a slant to the house no matter where we are on the field and those scrub WR's couldn't?

You literally just stated my argument was passing yards then you bring up passing TDs. I'll concede that I tried to sneak in the difference in QBs. Doesn't change the fact however that those same WRs produced as I argued.

Or you can look at it as Jimmy G produced the same with Goodwin, Trent and Garcon the last 5 games in 17 as he did with Deebo, Jennings and Aiyuk this year.

29 ppg in 17
26 ppg in 21

Well, yea. Jimmy's performance has declined since the end of 2017. His passing TD's were pedestrian and Deebo acounted for 30% of them. Deebo produced 28% of the teams total TD's in 2021. Goodwin, Garcon and Taylor combined for 4 TD's or 13% of the total TD's scored in 2017.

Why would you not care about college in regards to injures and the future of a player (which you're doing with Deebo)?

He missed a season of football because he got injured. He's missed more games then Deebo. Kittle has missed more games.

When you're cutting and doing s**t as explosive as these guys are. Things get pulled. Things get twisted. It happens.

If I paid Kittle/Trent/Armstead/Ward/Richburg/Kwon/Sherman then there is no reason I can call "injures" as a reason not to pay Deebo.

Again, where did I say we shouldn't pay Deebo?

Deebo is going to tell other players about our cheap owners, high taxes, and racism.

How will we look as a Free agent destination then?

We haven't been a top choice in FA since the cap hell years.

We don't spend top cash in FA and when we do it has backfired for the most part might as well pay the guys you developed into studs then.

Not paying top end FAs AND guys like Deebo isn't gonna win you Super Bowls
I believe that Deebo and Aiyuk have the potential to be a Jerry Rice and John Taylor type duo. I really would love to see it come to fruition.

Pay Deebo instead of Jimmy (top dollar free agent), you would think we would have learned from the Buckner situation.

Learn what exactly from the Buckner situation?

Dont trade Deebo, then draft a WR who has red flags about his knees
I will say.... I don't get why we cant extend him asap? Even if they didn't realize the WR market would explode like this, well they now know what it will take have recalibrated whatever their cap plan was the next few years right?

I mean we know he's staying here.... Get the deal done and move along.
How quaint

The Best 9er receiving tandem we've witnessed In quite sometime, but they have long way to go to get on the level of Rice and Taylor.

Still can't believe they had Steve Young, Jerry Rice, and Terrell Owens on offense at the same time,,,,and didn't get it done.

Thought trade was right move. Though I didn't like the Kinlaw selection.
