Niners have three receivers and a tight end that can take a quick slant pass to the house. Couple that with a qb who throws the slant pretty dang well and a coach who schemes the slant brilliantly. There is a lot of harmony with the offense that has been built. And Deebo is going to be a beast. Best prospect we have had at wr since back in the day. After watching his tape you have to wonder why he didn't go earlier. Think about all of the receivers that have gone first round the last 5 years. This guy has a high floor and high ceiling.

The injuries at SC and this draft class being loaded on defense played a part. In most years he probably doesn't make it out of the first.

I dont know much about him other that what I read here about him. I'm just finding out now how good he seems to be.

I can't wait to see him in preseason with Jimmy and Mullens throwing to him.

Deebo runs better routes in the sand than DK does on turf in Indianapolis lol

Haven't seen someone with RAC ability like his in red & gold since the TO days. Very refreshing to see.

George Kittle?

Yeah, even 81 is awful. That was Rashaun Woods's number.....

That'd be an interesting poll. Who was the worse 1st round WR, Woods or Jenkins?

Has to be Jenkins...dude only caught 1 pass and that was for a different team lol. Plus Woods was an avid fisherman, which is irrelevant but admirable.

Jenkins is the worst Niner first round draft pick I can think of and it's not even close. He contributed absolutely nothing at a huge position of need.

I remember thinking Stokes was a bust....I knew nothing

I love the training in the deep sand...programs him to catch off balanced on contested catches.

Wrong, it's actually training for the horrific field conditions at Levi's.

OK, all kidding aside, sincerely I bet it legitimately is good training for the field conditions he'll face.

speed, agility and helps strengthen the ankles against injury. When Frank Gore was getting those ankle injuries each year he went and did a lot of training in the sand and his ankle injuries went way down the next year.

True, but Woods was at, arguably, an even bigger need. We had Crabs and Moss the year Jenkins was drafted. When Woods was drafted.....our #1 receiver was TE Eric Johnson. After that we had Cedric Wilson at WR with less than 650 yards. Brandon Lloyd was on the team but didn't break out like he did later in his career.
I hope, Golden Tate can be Deebo Samuel?!
