These kids need to start acting like adults with a capital A. Give us a press release like a real grown man. What a joke. Stop using agents and family members to talk and speak for yourself. Divas all of em I tell ya.
Honestly, this is a bumbling take. TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS are on the line here. I don't blame them for using every tactic at their disposal.

Damn why aren't the pundits reporting that Deebo bro said he's not going anywhere?

No different agents same agency (CAA).
IMO if a trade was a real thing he would have been moved already.

Wow unbelievable. The Rams are the role model franchise! Who would've guessed?
Superbowl ring, best defensive lineman, best wide receiver, best cornerback, best GM, and the best fans in the entire NFL. Hell maybe even best coach.

The big difference between Kupp and Deebo is that Kupp already signed his second contract when most good NFLers make that big money. Deebo's been making 2nd round pick rookie contract money.

Ahh, CAA was what I was thinking about. They're not fun to deal with either. Thanks.
Agreed.

I think all this smoke and talk comes from the one thing deebo/agent wants and that is money.
NOT FROM THE 49ERS.
All of this is to get endorsement deals. It is the only thing that makes sense. Lynch was not worried about this, everyone knows the niners extend guys right before camp, Deebo is the future player on the team. All of the leaks and info comes from no one on the inside. Sure is brother was joking around which seemed to be clear from the first laughing emojis to me.
What does everything that happened really do? It gets Deebos name being talked about in the offseason when he has done nothing at all. the agent gets to use those numbers and name recognition to pump up any endorsement deals coming his way. I am guessing we are going to be seeing him all over the place once the season gets started. We should be taking bets on what insurance company is bringing him in, which cleats will he be rocking, what crazy thing that has nothing to do with football will pay him?

Route running... Kupp the best in the game right now
Deebo bigger, more physical..
With Kupp everyone knew where the ball was going every play he was doubled even tripled just didn't matter always open with massive separation at all times.. reminded me of prime AB when he was pacing the NFL in receptions each year. Not sure how to deal with it outside of grabbing the guy at the LOS / getting physical.

Until he formally requests a trade, then I'll believe it. He'd be an idiot if he wanted a trade, not only will he go somewhere and be less productive but he'll also most likely end up on a losing team.

Deebo getting all he can get knowing the passing game may regress while the young buck QB learns.

Could be a factor. I think it's very possible that Deebo is a better player in 2022 than in 2021, but have less production stats to show for it.

Not an idiot I don't blame him for being human. He didn't choose SF. It's a great situation for football right now with KS and TL and JL but there is more to life than football. If he wants to raise his family somewhere else like on the East Coast that's his right. It's the free part in free agency. You're not just choosing your workplace but where you want to live, raise your family, be close to home, etc. If his preference is to get paid top dollar and be closer to home I wouldn't blame him.
It's on JL to do what is best for the team. Resign Deebo is the top option. Course that requires Deebo put pen to paper and sign. If he won't, trade may be our best route to make sure we are fairly compensated. We could still have Aiyuk, Jennings, Kittle... I see BA ascending to a #1 with TL, Jennings ascending to a #2 and an elite TE to boot... plus if we are down Deebo we would surely add Julio or Will Fuller.. someone to compensate.. Marquise Goodwin is available.

Yeah, he'll never have the gaudy numbers a pass-centric team will have but like Kittle, he'll be a crucial component to the team's success as a threat in the run game, pass game and as a field blocker. I genuinely don't anticipate that formula suddenly changing with Trey at the helm...not yet, anyhow.
