Of we are making him top offers and he's just not obliging, then I don't blame Lynch. We need to know the actual why.

I think he doesn't want to be a wide-back and more so a top WR IMO..

I blame the FO for this. They should have extended him a long time ago, instead of their BS stance on not extending people until July. This did NOT have to come to this. Now, just what I thought, we'll have to franchise him. He's too important to this offense to trade him. Plus, we're not in a very good draft position to replace him in the draft. And given this news, no way are we gonna get fair value for him. So tagging him is our best option.

The 49ers have handled this situation terribly.

terrible leadership in my opinion.. ass backwards lynch

JL is a legend who has a World Champ ring, a Stanford education, a gold HOF jacket, and an honorary spot on the Bucs ring of honor. Put JL in the room with Deebo for 5 mins and he's a 49er for life. Problem is the representation these agents think they know best. At the end of the day JL gonna cash this in a way that will make all 49er fans happy. He holds all the cards now, including the rights to Deebo.

Our running game was better in 2019.

That's kind of what I've been saying this whole time. It will look different but the offense will still be fine. Deebo did carry us in 2021. Just like Mostert did in 2020. Just like Kittle did in 2019.

The offense will be fine. It just won't look like last year. With a change at QB it never was going to anyway.

I promise you the sky isn't falling
He made his choice, it's time to move on. I see why they are scouting RB like crazy, they must have known for a while.
doesn't want to be that wide back

The fans being hateful and rascist, probably.

I don't buy that. That's literally any team.

Jaire Alexander for Deebo Samuel and I would be cool with that.
Good luck in your future endeavors Tyshun.

Can't do that IMO, unless he ends up with Mahomes or Allen, etc.

Agreed. He's up there, but he's not the best.

Bizarre since he's the one that coined that term. He seemed happy to do whatever he could to help the team win. It's also not like he was forced to do it or to seek out contact the way he does.

My guess is that he just doesn't want to be on the West Coast.
