I'm not. He's arguably the best football player in the NFL. And he's on our team. And we may let him walk

Most versatile. Definitely not the best.
Deebos first 2 years total: 1200 yds 4 td, 22 rush attemps
Shenault first 2 years total: 1200 yds, 5tds, 29 rush attempts.

Miami?

they just spent the farm on Tyreek, who is way better

Wouldn't shock me if the FO short changed him and that's what started all of this.

Wouldn't surprise me either. I imagine Paraag tried to pay him as a top end running back.

I'd take Shenault for sure. But I want a high first rounder this year.

Trade value chart info:

Using the old-school Jimmy Johnson chart, Green Bay received 1,150 points for Adams while Chiefs received 1,092 points (or 1,087, depending on which fourth-round pick was acquired) in 2022 compensation and perhaps another 64 points in 2023 compensation (subject to change, obviously) for possible total of 1,153 points. If that's the case, the trades would basically be a tie.

So we can get expect something like 1100 in comp. Pick 32 from Detroit is 590. Next years first if you assume as mid-round would be 1000 and if you discount 50% as a future selection it comes to 500. 500+590 = 1090 or right around 1100. This is how we get two first round picks for Deebo.

I see what you are selling on here, but the draft value chart was established to how picks are valued to other picks. The intention was never to compare the values to players.
Since Baalke wants all the wideouts, 33 65 1st(23) Shenault.
Ugh.. Would've thought more negotiating tactics but IDK now.

Detroit already has a QB who costs way too much for what he brings to the table. Pretty sure they dont want another one. Imagine close to a $60M cap hit for a QB room of Goff and Jimmy. LMAOOOOO

Some of these ideas are so far fetched it's ridiculous. I read two other posts saying trade him for Chase Young or Jaire Alexander like that's remotely realistic.

Deebo is my favorite player right now but I think I would rather have a couple 1st rounders and the 30 mil a year than Deebo without the rushing attempts and only as a receiver.

This issue has always perplexed me with him once it would become time to reup. Do you offer more less due to how much you ask him to run the ball? Or do you really insult him by offering less (since RBs get paid less)??

Agree me and Deebo is very young. He's worth 2-3 high picks. But oddly enough if he doesn't want to run than why would another team want him?
Fun times lol

Yep. This is a f**king disaster. And people trying to spin it otherwise have blinders on.

I think you could get Shenault for a 4th. They have a ton of WRs in Jax.
