No, the Raiders were reportedly set on taking McGlinchey. Once the 49ers took him, Oakland traded back and settled for the second best tackle on their board. Instead they should have opted for Derwin James. Another example of where reaching for need screws you.

He had Kolton Miller well ahead of Mike McGlinchey last year. Which one would you take now? He does a great job with the draft but he also has his fair share of misses like the rest of us.
Love MD scouting breakdowns. But sometimes people act like he can do no wrong.
The fact is that we all aren't perfect. MD does an amazing job though and he clearly puts a lot of time into his rankings.
I personally think MD will be wrong about Hurd evaluation but its easy to nitpick someone's board from afar, I once though David Sills was a top 4 WR in this class, it doesn't look good now lol.
