Eating grapes and not sour ones because after what Lynch said, he knows he's getting PAID once Jimmy is gone LOL.

Which is the only lie Lynch made in the presser, "foot the bill" for Jimmy? GTFO no one is keeping a 26M+ QB as a back up and another back up QB for 2M.

Dude you are trying SO hard to sell this narrative. Literally every post you sprinkle it in.

Why does it bother anyone if the 9ers are keeping deebo, he's still on his rookie contract ROFL. The bored clueless media are the ones spinning the trade "narrative". Deebo spinning the trade "narrative" could be as real as Goulds and Mosterts haha, ignorance is bliss, or these people want him traded hate the 9ers because having deebo keeps the 9ers a SB contender.

Maybe it's Seahawks fans, cause they traded Rusell Wilson, they won't be SB contenders for at least the next 10+ years lol!!!!

Do people actually think HOFers grow on trees or even in the 1st round? lol...

Yea. People's widdle feewins got hurt. Now they come up with nicknames for him in order to get back at him.
j-e-t-s...

tamp-er-ing.
can we just point out to the media that the 10th pick in the draft (even with Elijah Moore) would not be an offer the Niners "can't refuse" ?

Or an astronomical, once in a liftime, it's too good to be true, you only have 3 seconds to click this link, take advantage now deal ?

Jets #4 and #10 this year for Deebo and Jimmy

Get two birds stoned at once
🤣 if he forces his way out to go to the jets, such a s**t team to go to…idgaf about Saleh, they are still trash

Big risk in my opinion to keep him around unless he wants to play like he did. Seems remote.

Way more opportunity for him to lose value than to gain or stay the same.

No. Protecting your investments is very important. Happens pretty much all the time in these contract situations -- most of it you never hear about.

Giving them away to be "better the team" would only kill the team in the long run. Just as in any other business venture.

In a contact sport such as this, that's the best move possible.

Imo another year of Deebo and whatever compensation that comes next year is far more valuable than any "reasonable" trade this year. Trey gets the weapons his first year and we get time to transition the offense. If Deebo doesn't perform he loses all leverage in negotiations with us or another team.

I keep saying this and those who just want him traded keep skimming right past it. There is NOTHING he can do to force his way off the team. If he does anything less than go out and kill it this year his big contract goes away, with us or another team. The only way we can f**k this up is to trade him this year for something "reasonable." If we wait it out Deebo's best option is to sign. With the amount of money he'd be leaving on the table this year and beyond he could move his whole damn family and friends to Cali. Makes no sense to accept anything less than an insane offer.

Franchise tag for a WR is going to be north of $20 mil, you want to pay all that for someone to hold them against their will? When is the last time doing that worked in favor of a team?

We don't need to tag yet. But just for giggles…

https://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/231479/franchise-tag-after-25-years-looking-back-at-best-worst-decisions

Especially if he doesn't play. He's a RFA next year and the tag's not necessarily even necessary.

And the reason it doesnt work in the favor of a team very much is because the sheer threat of it has these things lean heavily in the favor of the teams 9 times out of 10 without giving away their best player for pennies. There is no need usually for it to come to that.

I agree with the 2nd part, but the fact is the tag does work. I'm not going to go through every instance, but I am sure it worked the majority of the time. It's not always required as you say but if didn't work there would be no threat.

Historically, these are the best 9ers who played under a tag:

Steve Young (1993)
Terrell Owens (1999)
Julian Peterson (2004, 2005)
Aubrayo Franklin (2010)
Dashon Goldson (2012)

Agree, Deebo needs to get out of his feelings and have some patience. The Niners would have eventually compensated him fairly. Going to the Jets is just a dumb move for his career in my opinion. Good luck with that.

Aside from that I still hope we keep him.

I can't understand why everyone hates the jets so much, with or without deebo I think they got the pieces to turn it around in the next year or 2

Jets just need more weapons.

I do not hate the Jets, but have a hard time seeing them getting past 3rd place in that division for the foreseeable future. With or without Deebo.
Reason 15,283 that these talk show hosts don't know squat. On the NFL channel for Sirius, one just said one of the reasons Deebo wants to leave is we fired his favorite WR coach Wes Welker. As we know, he was not fired.

Trading Deebo, because he asked to be traded, is setting a bad precedent. Next Year Bosa might ask to be traded to Miami and go home.

Here's a speculation, maybe they flat out told Deebo they're not going to resign him? Deebo and Bosa are demanding 25-30mil QB money, if you have to choose one, you choose the pass rusher. They say the point of having a cheap QB is to be able to sign/resign player's. What if those players are paid QB money? Isn't that the same dilemma of having a expensive QB?

50m is qb money now

I know, 25m+30m for Deebo and Bosa respectively. I'm saying they probably choose to sign Bosa.

Bosa is locked up till 2023. Jimmy's money is going to deebo aka fair offer LOL.

Deevah GONE !!! Deevahhh GONE !!! - just like that useless Jett !!!

That is a horrible comparison. Jett was useless while Deebo was the MVP of the team.
