Crazy how 4.4 is no longer considered fast.
Back in the day 4.4 was the benchmark

IMO there are different levels of speed.
Burner to me are guys like Tyreek Hill, Goodwin, TY Hilton, etc.
The type of guys who if they have a step on someone they're gone, angle or not they're not getting caught from behind.
Samuel is more quick than fast. If he gets a step on someone odds are he's gone but he can be caught from behind by the super fast defenders.

Yeah I mean imo that's still pretty damn fast lol...especially at 214Lbs.
Sure you got DBs who can catch him (4.3 speed) most of those dudes are 190ish...Dude is a tank, very hard to tackle.
Go watch the Clemson game
Could #DeeboSamuel take a📄out of the @AnquanBoldin& @CollinsworthPFF📖by joining them as 2nd-RD rookies to eclipse 1K REC-YDS?#NFL

I'm with this. I keep it simple.
4.4 guys usually get caught from behind in a straight line. Burners faster than 4.4 can kick it into another gear, and ... They're gone.
Deebo with his quickness and at 4.4 will be just fine. He's going to get chunks of yards, and most of the time people will not care if he gets caught from behind or not.
Deebo Samuel could be one of the hardest working rookies I've ever seen.

He's constantly in the gym or doing field work which will only benefit him as he gets acclimated to the NFL. pic.twitter.com/FhiiKZqtDZ
