Sims mentioned hearing chatter that the niners were working on a deal with Bosa, possibly ahead of Samuel, which could have angered Samuel. If Deebo thinks he was the major reason the team made the playoffs (he was obviously one of the major reasons), and the team is prioritizing Bosa, Deebo could see that as a slap in his face. If Sims is correct, maybe Deebo got pissed because he thinks his deal should come first. This entire situation is just so bizarre. Clearly something very personal happened. Hopefully we will find out the truth at some point whether the team trades him or not.

Bosa was drafted in the 1st round and Deebo in the 2nd . If this is why he's pissed then he's incredibly thin skinned

I've been waiting on a 19problemz post and you sir (or ma'am) nailed it.

Sounds like folks are just guessing. I mean it doesn't even appear Bosa is getting an extension this off season. We haven't heard any word or news of anything in the works for Bosa at all.

His 5th year option was exercised.

I don't know about you but that tweet was painful to decipher.

He's become a hella sensitive.

No, he's always been sensitive. We're just now seeing it. It's typical of today's professional athletes. These are grown boys who have a difficult time negotiating mature situations. Emotional, knee-jerk reactions (traits we expect from women) is the default response for many of them.

Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money

Only everything I read including MM today says it's not money at all it's personal grudge he's got an axe to grind for some reason. Here is MM:

"It's personal" between the 49ers and Deebo Samuel

"I know for a fact that they were very cognizant about the fact that the first offer they give to Deebo can't be an insulting offer," Maiocco said, "The 49ers were very much like, 'Okay, we know we can't offer a number that is considered an insult.' They were prepared to pay him."
Of course, things never got to that point because Deebo told the team not to make a contract offer.

Those type of extensions get done closer to training camp.

It appears those 19 problemz lie between Deebo's ears.

I thought it would go in this order: Trade/release Jimmy; extend Deebo this offseason; extend Bosa more likely next offseason.

Don't forget, Sims' credibility as "Kyle's bro" was a major argument for his accuracy in predicting Mac Jones to us last year. His reporting on the 49ers has to be taken with a pretty large grain of salt now.
