So as a Razorback Alum, I must tell you that I, too, love me some Burks. But he isn't Deebo. Deebo is smaller (5' 11') and shiftier. Burks is taller 6'2 and a bit beefier.

Nothing else makes sense. This is between the 49ers front office and Deebo and his agent. Kyle isn't involved in negotiations. Kyle and Deebo have a close relationship.
This falls mainly on Paraag. He's the one that's responsible for bulk of the negotiations. I hope fans remember this when the team trades Deebo and wins 5 games next season.

I've got it! The NFL wants to get as many people as possible to watch the 1st round of an underwhelming draft, so they ginned this fiasco up in order to get Niners fans, who otherwise wouldn't tune in tomorrow, to watch and see what happens with Deebo. All about the ratings.

A good RB can consistently take tunnel screens and orbit motions to the house? Show me one single RB that does that in the league.
People act like Deebo wasn't elite as a WR.

Yeah, we really need to know the details on this one.
I think trading him is a massive black eye on this regime and not sure they will recover. Deebo is definitely immature, but they must have already known that. Somebody screwed up.

Since Kyle and Deebo have a close relationship and the head coach isn't involved in negotiations, this has to be stemming from Deebo's agent and Paraag. Paraag must of started the conversation with some numbers that Deebo felt disrespected by, and it completely spiraled out of control from there.
That's my guess.
That has always been my first inkling.
"I know for a fact that they were very cognizant about the fact that the first offer they give to Deebo can't be an insulting offer," Maiocco said, "The 49ers were very much like, 'Okay, we know we can't offer a number that is considered an insult.' They were prepared to pay him."
Then we have a video of Deebo saying he never got an offer.
Insulted. Now it's personal. He wants out. And here we are.

The 49ers have every right to ask for what they've asking for in compensation, but Deebo is not worth more than what Tyreek or Davante went for, or even Stefon Diggs, that's not a slight on Deebo.
If the report about 2 1s is coming from Michael and not David, he doesn't know anything.

Seeing how immature he is my guess is whatever is insulting him is stupid.

Honestly, it sounds like Deebo expected the 49ers to just roll out the red carpet and give him the amount he wanted no questions asked, no negotiating.
When that didn't happen, he dropped the nuclear option with the trade request, and did the equivalent of putting his fingers in his ears screaming la, la, la, I can't hear you.

AS WE f**kING SHOULD.
Not all first-round picks are equal. There is a big difference between getting 10 from the Jets and getting a first from a playoff team. I think the Jets would have to be idiots to give up #10 and their first-rounder next year for a WR who they have to pay 25 mil a year. I agree that it's a good first asking price but if that is the sticking point then I don't think anyone is going to give up 2 first-rounders.

They could be asking for a ridiculous return for Deebo cause we do not want to trade him so if we were to trade him it would have to be a bat s**t crazy deal. The deals for Adams and Hill were deals to get the trade done cause the Packers and Chiefs could not afford those players any longer.
