So Maiocco says it's personal? Ouch.

Since Kyle and Deebo have a close relationship and the head coach isn't involved in negotiations, this has to be stemming from Deebo's agent and Paraag. Paraag must of started the conversation with some numbers that Deebo felt disrespected by, and it completely spiraled out of control from there.

That's my guess.

That has always been my first inkling.

"I know for a fact that they were very cognizant about the fact that the first offer they give to Deebo can't be an insulting offer," Maiocco said, "The 49ers were very much like, 'Okay, we know we can't offer a number that is considered an insult.' They were prepared to pay him."

Then we have a video of Deebo saying he never got an offer.

Insulted. Now it's personal. He wants out. And here we are.

So what's he insulted by if no lowball offer or #'s were thrown out like you had previously me mentioned?

They were just following the wisdom of "if you can't offer something nice, then don't offer anything at all." They knew they didn't want to give Deebo an offer that would be insulting, so they didn't give him an offer at all.

Seeing how immature he is my guess is whatever is insulting him is stupid.

Possibly. You can hear the video with him talking to A.J. Brown who also was insulted by not even getting to $20M...on an initial offer and wanting to go to the negotiation table. And Deebo didn't even get that.

But there's no point in drawing up an initial offer or going to the table if you are worlds apart in initial talks and you (Deebo) and your agent are confident you can get that bag elsewhere.

It's probably personal because he feels he laid it on the line for the team and Paraag isn't matching that in reciprocity in negotiations.

This. Deebo LITERALLY put his body on the line for the team. He left it all on the field. Paraag was probably incredibly disrespectful and insulting in early negotiations in Deebo"s eyes, and now, Deebo feels that he isn't as respected or appreciated by the organization as he should be.

It's personal? Did Paraag sleep with Deebos girl?

Wouldn't 10 + 35 and 38 technically equal the value of two number ones?

I think if we make that trade, we actually win. We grab a receiver (replacement) and a starting center and starting safety.

What if Deebo causes Paraag to be fired. I'd say he'd have to start wearing a cape with his uniform.

This makes no sense. What you are saying is that Deebo wants out because he didn't get a deal done quick enough. That's it? That's what this whole drama is about?

So as a Razorback Alum, I must tell you that I, too, love me some Burks. But he isn't Deebo. Deebo is smaller (5' 11') and shiftier. Burks is taller 6'2 and a bit beefier.

I dont think Deebo is that shifty, he's just determined..

Is there really any difference? A low ball offer (A.J. Brown) or no offer at all (Deebo) both say, "I don't value you."

Assuming we hit on all those picks is foolish tbh

So there was no low ball offer bc Deebo said he never got an offer? And thats what he's insulted over? Last week he reportedly said the 49ers shouldnt make an offer. Is that true?

I can believe he thinks its personal but i just dont know how he arrived at that position? Its personal bc the 49ers haven't made him an offer yet?

I'm so confused.
