I don't normally listen to Sherman but he has gone to the mat with Paraag as far as contracts go so when he says he uses some tactics that can piss people off imma believe him.

I bet something like this happened.

Deebo's agent calls the 49ers and informs them of the numbers they want, Paraag tells him the numbers the 49ers are starting with.

Deebo's agent informs Deebo of the 49ers initial numbers and Deebo gets pissed and drops the trade request.

No formal offer was made by the 49ers and they never even made it to the negotiation table.
