From what I was reading is that the 49ers are asking for 2x first rounders. No team is willing to give up 2x first rounders. Now the Jets are targeting DK. Ask for more than what teams are willing to give up and you won't be enticed to give up your star player. I bet the FO and Deebo get a deal done by August. Like I said last week. By September, this will pretty much all be forgotten. Atleast those who didn't have their feelings hurt during the process anyway.

Possibly. You can hear the video with him talking to A.J. Brown who also was insulted by not even getting to $20M...on an initial offer and wanting to go to the negotiation table. And Deebo didn't even get that.

But there's no point in drawing up an initial offer or going to the table if you are worlds apart in initial talks and you (Deebo) and your agent are confident you can get that bag elsewhere.

It's probably personal because he feels he laid it on the line for the team and Paraag isn't matching that in reciprocity in negotiations.

This. Deebo LITERALLY put his body on the line for the team. He left it all on the field. Paraag was probably incredibly disrespectful and insulting in early negotiations in Deebo"s eyes, and now, Deebo feels that he isn't as respected or appreciated by the organization as he should be.

Boom

ive always been team f**k PARAAG

*gasps* (whispers) "I'm no longer alone."

Its the blame Lynch and Paraag crowd

Yeah not sure how that puts the blame on Paraag. How dare your chief negotiator do his job!

Don't you know, we're supposed to just hand these guys whatever deal they want without trying to get as good a deal for the team as possible.

That would be one way to build a super Dominant Defense

Agent probably filled his head with facts about RBs having a short career and how do you expect a big 2nd payday if your ran into the ground…and it got to Deebo. 49ers aren't wrong, Deebo ain't wrong but something's gotta give.
nice to hear that the Jets might move onto another realistic (definitely not tampering) target to play WR with DK Metcalf or Jay Z or 24 year old Jerry Rice or maybe Jesus Himself.

* if they can't get Deebo

Wait...what did The Jets finish last year ?
11 season playoff drought...oh.
Be careful what you wish for Deebo (if you do) : )

I'm sorry, do you mean Saleh? Because, in between laughing, I was not sure who you meant.

So Maiocco says it's personal? Ouch.

I'm baffled as to what could have possible made this personal so quickly. And if this has gotten personal it has to be on Deebo's side. I can't imagine Lynch and Shanny taking the business of this personal. So this takes me back to the initial offer that was reported. I just don't think Deebo is handling this in a mature way. I think he's taking this way too personal.

See, this is what you get when you have whole generations of . . . . well . . . . I just won't say it here. But it's a shame, and something society has to course-correct.

You seem to be saying he should be subaervient and know his place.

I don't think that is what society needs to promote again, like it used to to athletes.

If that's your takeaway then you need to read my moments on this again. Because that's nowhere near what I was saying. Not even close. Please do me a favor and not try to interpret what I say. If you don't understand what I'm saying just ask me for clarity because I wasn't saying anything of the sort.
We still over reacting to every media report? Of course we are. 🤣
