Ask for more than what teams are willing to give up and you won't be enticed to give up your star player. I bet the FO and Deebo get a deal done by August. Like I said last week. By September, this will pretty much all be forgotten. Atleast those who didn't have their feelings hurt during the process anyway.
I certainly could see this. That would be terrific.
two first rounders would be nice, we can draft another scary duo of Solomon/Foster.

I'm sorry, do you mean Saleh? Because, in between laughing, I was not sure who you meant.
Yes!

Lol there's never a middle ground when it comes to players. Have to be a Homer or a hater.
I love Deebo. Don't think he or any WR is worth 25m. Add in him seemingly not wanting to be here with his value at an all time high. Trading him is a no brainer from my perspective.

Yes, the high possibility of significant injury time with that style of play worries me as well.

where's the old dude that forgot his Seroquel again, had a little too many old fashions and wanted to admonish the people that said it was all BS created by the off-season lack of news cycle?
if he gets traded it'll be for a Ricky Williams like trade after all this. Otherwise, enjoy the Lance to Deebo connection for years to come. But this thread has provided allot of laughs.
It's been all laughs and jokes. Deebo will be laughing all the way to the bank with Jimmy's bill, exactly why he "fake" cried on social media after all the other WRs got paid. The only people who spin the BS is the bored sports media who probably hates the 9ers and some fans who's ego were hurt lol..

I love deebo and he is obviously a massive piece to what we do and who we are - but if the Jets do put together a massive set of picks/players for him, it's hard to pass up even if this wasn't going on with his trade demand.
if it's good picks and a good receiver of theirs, plus we save salary cap room (lots) - it's hard to not entertain it.
if he leaves, I will miss him. He's a huge piece of the locker room too.

Last year we were on the edge of our seats to see who we were drafting at 3. Now we are going to be on the edge of our seats to see if Jets remain on the clock at 10.

Pretty over it tbh.
If he stays then great, he's a great player.
If he goes and we a large trade haul then great as well.
I'll just be glad when the drama is over.
The problem with paying him now is that he has just shown how he's willing to act in the future. What's to say that two years from now he wants a new deal because he is no longer one of the top paid receivers. We've seen he will just request a trade and talk through the media to voice his displeasure.
All joking aside, Deebo is an extremely immature individual. Between the way he handles the professional side of football and the grammar that he uses, it is actually sad.
