If we don't trade him by pick #10 on draft day I assume we aren't trading him. Additional picks too. But if he's not traded by pick #10 and we are on the clock I assume he's not being traded.

Therefore we should have a really good idea by pick #10 tomorrow. What is going to happen.

The problem with paying him now is that he has just shown how he's willing to act in the future. What's to say that two years from now he wants a new deal because he is no longer one of the top paid receivers. We've seen he will just request a trade and talk through the media to voice his displeasure.

All joking aside, Deebo is an extremely immature individual. Between the way he handles the professional side of football and the grammar that he uses, it is actually sad.

Lol there's never a middle ground when it comes to players. Have to be a Homer or a hater.

I love Deebo. Don't think he or any WR is worth 25m. Add in him seemingly not wanting to be here with his value at an all time high. Trading him is a no brainer from my perspective.

Package deal to Lions, Deebo/Jimmy for #2 pick?
lol I got tricked. I thought this thread was moved to NFL talk. (niner talk and draft forum switched places)

Detroit "use us to dump your unwanted QB contracts" Lions
I think the trade for deebo to the jets is going to happen and I think Jimmy to Pittsburgh is going to happen. No way they think Trubisky is anything good for besides being a dips**t
Here is a thought, how long did the 9ers hang on to Jalen Hurd, hoping he would pan out some how some way as a NFL WR that can contribute to the team?

Now that they FINALLY have a legit #1 WR (in the Kyle and Lynch era) a "game changer" and "fundamental player" still on his rookie contract mind you, that even other teams are willing to give up 1st round draft picks for, you're going to let him go and you were just at the NFCC last season with a mediocre QB whose getting dropped so you can pay your #1 WR with his money?

Non-story. Pay the kid with talent that you were looking for, have on the roster and need for the future and long haul, end of (non) story aka stupid AF media BS.

I'm going to assume that Niners fully intended on paying him a lot of money (but not top 1-3 WR money). But his agent is telling he deserves top 1-3 money and they have gone scorched earth to get it.

First, You have no idea what his agent want. Second, An agent just wants his pockets filled and they don't get a penny unless a contract is signed and the deal is done, that I know and to be honest I'm a agent myself, we only get a small % of the deal so a bigger deal that isn't happening isn't necessary the final goal or a bigger difference for us as opposed to the client 😉

I've got it! The NFL wants to get as many people as possible to watch the 1st round of an underwhelming draft, so they ginned this fiasco up in order to get Niners fans, who otherwise wouldn't tune in tomorrow, to watch and see what happens with Deebo. All about the ratings.

Not too far fetched, Niners have a worldwide market, one of the biggest and most involved fanbases in the NFL. They saw the ratings from the Mac Jones fiasco last year and wanted to run it back. It's not a real NFL Draft season without a Niner drama to spice it up. Buckner trade in 2020, Mac Jones rumors last year and now the Deebo nightmare this year. f**k it I'm buying it...
My guess is that it's the amount of guaranteed money that's the real issue. Deebo saw that Watson got a fully guaranteed contract and wants that too. He probably wants a paltry 25m/year for 5 years fully guaranteed, but mean ol' Paraag said no way.
