As I've said look at the sheer hate over Jimmy. I'm not trying to be rude but he's right we have a faction of fans that are absolutely garbage fans. That's not saying you have to like every player but these guys go beyond sports. It's something deeper.

Every sports team of every sport has a faction of fans that are absolutely garbage, what's your point?

When you have large groups of people, there will always be s**t stains.

This guy thinks saying Jimmy isn't a top 10 QB is "sheer hate."

Yeah thousands of post saying Jimmy isnt top 10... That's never a conversation really but nice lie.

It's literally almost 95% of my posts in that thread. Ranking Jimmy, telling people they're out of their mind for thinking he's top 10 or even top of tier 2, when the evidence suggests he's around the mid point or just above that of tier 2 (putting him somewhere around average to above average).

In fact, in all these conversations, the only "sheer hate" I've seen is from people like me annoyed at people like you.

All his dumbass social media posts are really giving me Antonio Brown type of Vibes. I just can't help but think about the possibility of CTE with Antonio Brown. And now with this seemingly dramatic change in behavior, the thought of CTE pops up into my mind with respect to Deebo. Hopefully neither one of them has any problems like that though.

Come on bro...AB has been know to beat on women and sexually assault them. Not sure how Deebo is giving you those type of vibes b/c of social media. All he did was remove some niner gear and make some rambling statements. And that leads you to concludenit might be CTE. That's beyond a stretch

You have to keep in mind Deebos playing style and a lot of these guys have been playing football since they were 8 years old. I'm not saying he has it. The sudden behavior change is just odd though and that's something to watch out for. CTE has shown in younger athletes.

It could also very well just be that he's caught in his feelings, and his negotiation strategy was to start acting like a Diva and say things like don't even offer a contract.

Did he really make that statement? Do you have a quote from him?

So, I feel about 90% certain Deebo won't be traded. I feel like yesterday was the real deadline since a trading team would most likely want to fly Deebo in for a physical and his agent would want an extension already in place. I think a couple things have happened behind the scenes:

1. I think the team purposely waits until after the draft to deal with extensions just so they know exactly what resources the team has and so that they don't feel forced to target specific players. We have seen them manipulate what other teams know about their players pre-draft (Asking Staley to delay his retirement announcement until after the draft).

2. Deebo's agent is trying to make his entire career this year. With A.J. Brown, D.K. and Deebo up for extensions, this agent's reputation and main earning potential for the rest of his career are on the line. So he was impatient with the team's reluctance to make a big money offer and decided to try to leverage the upcoming draft into a way to get his client attention. He and Deebo didn't REALLY want a trade. They wanted the league talking about Deebo for as long as possible. Deebo's stats, clutch performances, and league comparisons have been all over ESPN and talk radio for the last week. This coverage has lead to 31 other teams and their fan bases drooling over what THEIR team would look like if only THEY had Deebo.

3. His agent got a win when he got the team to agree to allow Deebo permission to seek a trade. That permission comes with permission to negotiate an extension with other GMs. I guarantee 2-3 teams have put a specific offer in front of Deebo and his agent. He can use those numbers when he negotiates with the Niners. I think this was the goal the whole time. It was essentially market research.

4. I predict a 4 year extension for Deebo to be agreed upon and signed sometime in mid-June. There will be no more talk of "personal issues" between he and the team. That deal will be a record breaking deal in some way.

5. The biggest danger of this negotiation tactic is if the team actually agreed to trade Deebo. But that is why I think his agent chose this tactic for Deebo and not his other clients. Deebo is an All-pro coming off a historic statistical season and a playoff run fueled mainly by him. The Niners would risk huge backlash by trading Deebo even for a "Godfather" deal. Seattle is in rebuild mode, so they would have easily cut ties with DK for the right price. A.J. Brown is a superstar in the making, but Henry is arguably the more important offensive weapon. Deebo has the most leverage over his team so his agent knew any trade deal was going to have to be enormous and no team would give up huge draft capital without an extension in place. That extension was going to have to be north of 25 million a year, so it would still be a win for team Deebo.

Stay calm and Deebo on.

Hell ya I'm all for it. Been a fun off-season in here.
If this trade does happen i think it will go down how Grant Cohn and Larry Krueger talked about. Niners will wait until the Jets are on the clock at number 10. Depending on who is avalaible they make the trade that moment. They could be targeting some one specific and waiting to see how the first 9 picks play out to see if making this trade would be worth. At this point im good with either Deebo staying or making the trade assuming the Jets offer is a good one.

This year in the draft, instead of waiting for 'the Niners are on the clock', we are waiting for- -'there's a trade'

Funny and sad

That's the reason he's pissed off in the 1st place, that guaranteed $ is a joke.
He's not getting traded. I just hope the relationship can be mended. If our FO wants him this bad, then pay him.
The rumor is the 49ers are asking for 2 first round picks for Deebo. It probably isn't worth it for the other 31 teams in the league. However, that maybe what he is worth to the 49ers. The chances of a 1st round pick becoming the equivelant or surpassing what Deebo means for this team are unlikely. I really don't believe that the organization is ready to move on and it really will take a king's ransom to pry Deebo away from the 49ers.
