So what? He earned it, Jimmy's money 💰 That is (and none of it is our money so who cares). That was the ploy all along like Gould like Mostert, nothing new here, it's a non-story, the bored media is the one that couldn't stop spinning it "their way" LOL!!!!

He was (past tense) our best player. He is no longer our best player.

Trade this dude and stop dwelling on the past. "Offensive weapons" like Deebo, Percy, Leveon etc are flashes in the pan. That's the whole reason he doesn't want to be used that way…it shortens your career.

Solely as a receiver he's slightly above average… wouldn't be a number one on any other team in our division.

And that's what he wants to be… a receiver. And I don't blame him.

I don't remember Mostert demanding to be the top paid running back after one year

Any previous signing bonus will still count for the years under the previous contract."

This is what I believe the hold up is with extending Deebo. ATM, they do not have the cap space to sign their rookies and give Deebo a signing bonus. The signing bonus accounts for every year of the contract, not just the extended years.

Draft is only thing holding things up I believe. We have multiple ways to open up cap.

We had the $$$ before we started signing special teams guys, camp fodder and depth

Special teams was a sore spot most of last season. Don't let that GB game make you believe otherwise.
The ones saying they are done with Deebo, he's just a diva, his best ball is behind him lol...You will regret that. Wait until we take a bust with that pick that is supposed to replace him, then you will just go back to saying fire Lynch, Shanny sucks, yada yada yada

Deebo was our offense last year, he is one of the better offensive players in the game. Like Jimmy G said "Deebo is different"

Competitiveness and Passion can not be denied. But if he was to go to a bad team like the Jets, it would be like putting a diamond on a pile of turd, wasted, career suicide.

I don't remember Mostert demanding to be the top paid running back after one year

Mostert demanded to be the top paid RB on the 49ers bc he was paid as a ST but used as a starting RB...mostly the jerrick mckinnon $ causing trouble

Mostert did not demand to be the top paid RB in the NFL

Different player same ploy, nothing new. Check your ego before reviewing facts and the obvious aka discernment brings clarity.

Huge difference between top RB and top RB on the niners lol. I would be pissed too if I was the top guy and some scrub who never paid was making way more than me. Deebo situation is way different.

Furthermore not your money, why should any one care really lol.. did it matter they paid and keep Gould and Mostert? NO. Now that they have some one to replace Mostert, they moved on, same with Jimmy, who cares?
It's the nature of the business, the nature of the NFL and it's NOT YOUR MONEY, so who gives F lol.

Completely different lol
This is great example of the impatience so many people have now. There was a time when players would demand to be paid more after stringing a few good seasons together. Now one is all it takes. We see this in all walks of life now.

Who cares. It's not your money. If your ego is hurt he asked for a trade request, a business tactic for negotiation these days, you should be worrying about your own lives and livelihood than his.

Furthermore the team (9er FO) doesn't need to grant his trade request or pay him what he wants, it's up to the team, if they want to pay him, it's up to the team, so who cares.

They don't trade him today, deebo will get pay, with Jimmy Gs money once they dump him, end of story.
