This is what I believe the hold up is with extending Deebo. ATM, they do not have the cap space to sign their rookies and give Deebo a signing bonus. The signing bonus accounts for every year of the contract, not just the extended years.

Draft is only thing holding things up I believe. We have multiple ways to open up cap.

We had the $$$ before we started signing special teams guys, camp fodder and depth

Huge difference between top RB and top RB on the niners lol. I would be pissed too if I was the top guy and some scrub who never paid was making way more than me. Deebo situation is way different.
