Furthermore the team (9er FO) doesn't need to grant his trade request or pay him what he wants, it's up to the team, if they want to pay him, it's up to the team, so who cares.

They don't trade him today, deebo will get pay, with Jimmy Gs money once they dump him, end of story.

Asking if my ego is hurt because I disagree that the Mostert and Deebo situations are "the same thing" 🤣🤣🤣

Good one 👍🏻👍🏻

Simple, put the fair offer money on the table when the time comes.. or franchise tag 3x like sherm said LOL. Again it's not our money, who cares..

The fans should only be concern about winning and the product on the field aka they made NFCC last season beating the SB Champs 2/3 with mediocre Jimmy, they should go to the SB or at least continue to contend for it going forward. They need deebo to do so, so they would be dumb AF to trade him now.

That's the reason he's pissed off in the 1st place, that guaranteed $ is a joke.

How is that a joke? Basically, a third of his income is guaranteed even if he falls off the planet. Davante Adams has the 2nd highest annual paycheck for a WR in the NFL and he has a 22m guarantee. Not to mention that every WR in the top 5 have 2 solid years or more production than Deebo. Looking through contracts 30-40 is the average. So bump it up another 5-10 million of guaranteed.

If that's why he's pissed off, then he's being petty. That's a negotiation point, not a reason to fly off the handle.

Agreed. I'm good with doing an extension though. He gets a bit of guarantee, 9ers still get a season of cheap, and then he gets paid. If he's not worth it after a couple years (meaning he's a 1 hit wonder), he gets cut. No harm or foul.
Selfishly I want deebo traded for something to watch tonight. Overall what is best for the team is a boring night.

I love it (had no idea they were implementing it).

I already suggested, they should give deebo AT MOST 3 year 75M contract, 22M per year up to 25M if he meets all incentives such as 1k+ receiving yards 10+ receiving tds 300+ rushing yards 5+ rushing TDs probowls etc, 44M guaranteed, no guarantees last year but up for contract extension, 20M Signing bonus (aka Jimmy's Bill) and work out the details on all the incentives..

They need to get rid of Jimmy G and his 26M+ first.

Him and his agent are gonna laugh at that.

There's zero chance a guy in Deebo's position is going to take less than half the guaranteed money that Adams just took lol. All the other numbers are fluff.

Tyreek has 72.2 million in guarantees
Adams has 67.5 million in guarantees
Diggs has 50 million in guarantees

You actually expect Deebo to accept 30? No chance

No. The route they will take. Jimmy is gone by July.
And is deebo traded tonight? Most likely not.

Yup. The hold up is that signing bonus. Deebo is just being impatient. FO does not want to lose that $7.5 million so they are playing the waiting game.

We're not so far apart. I'd prefer the extra year though and 25m.

This is why you extend instead of just making a new contract. Deebo gets some spending money in the way of a signing bonus and some guarantees on the back end. The 9ers get a budget friendly but well paid WR.
