He isn't signing a prove it deal lol. If we want him were going to pay him top money.

Please tell me you won't be asking for 'Deebo trade news' all next year

Lol, ok.

Doesn't matter. He'll sign an extension before then.

I don't think that's quite true either. All the "top money" WRs have 2-3+ more years established performance on their records than Deebo does.

For the love of GOD I just don't understand why you keep harping on this. Here let me try and explain it the 10th time using new contracts Devonte Adams and Tyreke Hill just signed.

D Adams contract pays him a modest 8.1 million in 2022. In '23 it jumps to 30 million.
T Hill contract pays him a modest 6.5 million in 2022. In '23 it jumps to 30+ million.

Deebo is under contract for 4.9 million in 2022. The 49ers can easily structure his contract similar to where he still gets paid the 4.9 million in '22 and in '23 his contract will jump up like Adams and Hill's.

So in a nutshell, getting rid of Jimmy's contract would be nice but its not preventing the 49ers from extending Deebo. Once Jimmy G is traded they can easily go back and give Deebo more up front if that's what they want to do. And to blow your mind even further, they can reduce his '22 pay and move it out a couple years. If the money is guaranteed it just doesn't matter.

They can tag him 3x it will still go pass 20M a year at some point, but they have to pay him (and give him some
guarantee money and more than per year basis as in a franchise tag) regardless at some point for him to commit and perform like he did last year for the 9ers because at the end of the day it's about MONEY and his continual performance and production and the willingness to do so, that's the issue.

No they're going to get the 20M+ signing bonus from you LOL. You are not Paraag, so don't care and you don't have to believe me. Countless media have already call the signing bonus issue if a big new offer is to be made to deebo by the 9ers. Dump Jimmy and his 26M+, no more issue.

Is Jimmy gone yet? NO.

Is Jimmy going to be dumped? YES.

Can the 9ers sign whoever the F they want with Jimmy's 26M+ once Jimmy is gone? YES and does that include a new big contract to deebo if that's the case? YES.

Nothing to debate.

You would think that the team trading for Deebo would want the trade finalized before the draft starts tonight. Mainly because they would want to make sure Deebo is going to sign that extension with them before they send it in to league. If it is agreed upon during the draft they risk the chance of not getting to talk to him before finalizing the trade. Seems awfully risky for the team.

I expect the teams that want him will put out their best offer hours before the draft. Tell the 49ers to take it or leave it. Not saying that the trade would be announced before the draft but it would have to be agreed.

If money isn't the issue than why haven't they extended him yet? If money isn't the issue than why is Deebo upset?
For the first time ever, I used the block feature........its a beautiful thing
