Ok #JETS Nation, I finally received another call at 10:47 am est. The #NewYorkJets just "RECEIVED" a call from…………….The #SeattleSeahawks. No further information about said call at this time.

some people don't understand extension and new contract is the same thing, aka it's a new contract and it comes with a signing bonus for the NFL, aka money straight to the bank as soon as it is signed.

I have already told you, I'm a agent myself, I do real estate. I have handle countless contracts and negotiations. Have you? Give me a break lol..

That's exactly what deebo wants, the signing bonus aka money straight to the bank (and obviously guaranteed money as much as possible) when he signs a new contract (in this situation, an extension), aka Jimmy's money when he is dumped. How hard is it for people to understand that lol. Must be bitter Jimmy fans or people that just likes to argue over nothing.

EDIT: In Rodgers situation he would have the old signing bonus and new signing bonus both count toward the current year.

I have nothing against Jimmy and have been one of his biggest supporters, but generally everything bad that has happened to this franchise over the last few years can be traced back to him.
