He's not getting traded. Even though I want him out of here.

My gut feeling is that hes staying and the circus will continue until August.

Get a 1st plus some other stuff and move on.

Why do you want the 49ers to be worst?

Deebo doesn't want to be here. So I want the Niners to get the max in return they can and move on. It's pretty simple.

When did he say he didn't want to be here?

Umm let's see…he called up an ESPN reporter and told him that he asked Niners management for a trade.

You been under a rock for the past couple weeks?

This would fit ShannyLynch's operating pattern. Just look how they handled the Jimmy G situation.

Not looking good for us. We need his explosive play making and toughness. Why do we piss him off and still have reject limp arm jimmy lurking around? This team needs some new front office leadership.

I started feeling better last night about this whole thing, which tells me he is likely dealt today. Look, I think most of us, rationally and with the emotion of the past week behind us, would rather he stay, sign a contract, play like a beast, and help us capture number six. But his actions in the social media arena, his unwillingness to say whether he wants to stay or go, and the circus around the situation continues to point towards him not being with us moving forward. I wish it was otherwise, but it is not. If he does stay, and you are looking for a silver lining, Scottie Pippen remained on the final Bulls title team--though he missed time with an injury--and helped them win.

If he stays, maybe it is his last dance. But, I got to tell you brothers and sisters, it sure does not feel that way today. It feels like he is already gone. Whether the Niners accept that and decide to rationally get the most for him that they can is the remaining question. We will find out in a few more hours.

Lol... why so emotional?

He wants to get pay, pay him with Jimmy's money.

Easy peasy. Jimmy is leaving any way. That was the 9er FOs plan all along lol.. especially once Trey was drafted.

Because emotion and reason are the bedrocks of human existence.

Not when it doesn't concern your livihood. If it's about winning, they need to keep deebo at all cost really.

That is your opinion. Certainly, they rationally believe they need him. It is simple logic, Jim. BUT, they do not emotionally have to commit to him at all. And if he, emotionally has decided, I am done. Then it does not matter, now does it?

Reason and emotion, emotion and reason, my man. They are intertwined in all of the things we do. In fact, you could continually argue a point of view that you deem reasonable, but that really demonstrates your emotional commitment to an idea that is in fact wrong. Yet, you feel that you are being reasonable, when, in fact, you are not. You are being emotional.

For the record, I think a good bit of both is necessary to survive.

Never was about emotions, it's about money. If it is fated for him it will come regardless. He's breaking major generational curses if he gets his pay day with the 9ers or if traded with someone else. Did any of his ancestors have the ability, fortune, karma or destiny to break those generational curses as him now? No. Jimmy can't block that. Jimmy already got his. Jimmy should have already been traded, no he took his sweet time and got his surgery late on purpose. That's not going to stop deebo from getting pay and breaking generational curses..

No, I just haven't been finishing players thoughts. Only he knows why he requested a trade and it may or may not have something to do with him not wanting to be here. Maybe he wants more money than he was offered. Maybe he doesn't want to play RB as much. That isn't him saying he doesn't want to be here. You are one of the people he was referring to in his latest tweet.

So should the debate be trade for draft capital next year or this year or both? I mean, if it is me, I say give me #10 this year, give me your first next year (likely to be lower in the first) and call it good. Is that unreasonable? They want him, we have him. Supply and demand, right? (And yes, I agree with the person above who equated it to housing. And you are right, brother, it is scary as f**k).

Nope it wasn't the FO. It was Jimmy. He had no problem doing subway commercials before getting traded to a bad team and have no more fame or recognition to ride on..

I think I'd take that as well, I think it'll be a top 10 pick. I would be surprised though. I think there's about 3 more hours for a deal to get done, and after that I think we pass.

With all due respect, re-read your responses to me. You contradict your own statements.

I know that the 2 situations aren't completely the same because Rodgers would get his previous signing bonus plus the new signing bonus. However, Deebo would still get his signing bonus this year if he signed an extension because it impacts the entire length of the contract and not just the extended years.

Cant signing bonuses be spread out however they want to be though?
read here that Warner and Kittle's extension didn't increase their cap hit in their final year

Warner's extension kept his 2021 salary cap number the same, Kittle's in 2020 was about $3M more, if Deebo were to extend his deal, they'd likely do what they did with Warner, since they don't have any cap room right now, or they redo Trent's deal, save $4.904M, but that'd be best done before the season, and then Deebo would get like a $15M signing bonus this year, then they could add in a $15M-$20M option bonus in 2023 that's protected, so he's GTD to get it, but if exercised, it prorates over the final years of the deal, if it's a 5yr extension, then it prorates over the final 5.

As for Rodgers, the Packers either didn't do a signing bonus, or they did back to back option bonuses, which isn't done much, or what we did with Warner, Trent, Kittle, etc.... The option bonus in year 2.

So what youre really saying is they should have no issue getting a deal done now and Jimmy has nothing to do with it?

Yes, Yes I am lol, it can be done without moving Jimmy.

That would be considered daylight robbery. No way the Jets give up all of that for receiver. That would be a crazy haul. I think a 10th, swap 2nd round picks and maybe a future 2nd would be more realistic.

Don't cure, I want premium value for one of, if not, the best weapons in the NFL, and this is a weak draft top wise, some teams only have like 18 players with 1st rd grades, the QBs aren't 1st rd quality IMO.
