People act like McKinnon is making $20M this year or something. He makes nothing of consequence now. No reason to move him.

Shanahan described McKinnon's injury as "devastating" for the offense and his play calling. That was before the Garoppolo injury.

RBs are very likely to get hurt. Few play a full 16 games. No way Shanahan ever wants to have his play calling sole sourced on one RB.

McKinnon/Coleman/Breida allows him to do whatever he wants every week without fear.

If Mckinnon can come back healthy, we have a nice stable of backs. Not sure of the complaints either.

2 home-run hitters and an all around back. Coleman gives you reliability, good pass pro(something Breida has struggled with) scheme familiarity and decent pass catching skills. McKinnon gives you a home-run threat, great pass pro and catch and run ability. Breida gives you home-run threat from any run.

I like this. It means we have a threat to run or pass with anyone on the field and defenses have to respect the speed. Should help out with some of our QB hits too. I see much more 21 personnel in our future.
