That feetwork is unnatural

That is one of the smoothest hip turns I've ever seen.
Has the type of feet that got him injured 3years in a row. There's a price to pay for that type of talent

He's a local kid too. From Fairfield where i live now. Wonder if he grew up a Niner fan? At least he will feel at home being back in the Bay close to his family.

he did grow up a niner fan yes. that's what makes this signing so much better.

He said he was a Raiders fan.

lol what do you have to back that up?

On Matt B's twitter feed in his interview. What you got?

Fairfield native Jason Verrett after being pressed about his favorite Candlestick Park memory "I was a Raiders fan growing up, so I really ain't rock with the #49ers too much," he said.

so he was a raider fan growing up, but doesn't mean he wasn't a niner fan more recently.

You think he was a fan while playing for the Chargers? You should provide some evidence since you asked me to.

Why is it such a big deal. I'm just going off what the actual person in question said. I'm not asking anyone to believe Jason Verrett

maybe it will be a walt harris perish cox carlos rogers thing... we just could not go into the season with the same set of corners that we had last year

Can he play outside corner? I think of him as a slot

Yes, he is mostly outside

Prior to the 2014 draft it was reported that he had been with a 49ers fan growing up so I ran with it. If he says he was a Raiders fan growing up then I am inclined to believe him.

He's primarily an outside corner.

whatever. we needed someone. i feel better saying. hopefully he will be healthy with this guy as compared to saying that about ward. this guy deserves a fresh start. to me. what they did before us means nothing.. i took that approach with sherman while many were roasting the move

I will be rooting for Verrett. Like the move. He's missed alot of football don't know what were getting but the potential is there for him to be the steal of this free agency. If I were the coaches he'd be getting the veteran treatment. Practices off, extra rest days, etc. They must have seen enough to feel good about his recovery.
Sonosnhe supppsednto be readu for camp. Good move he'll start of healthy
